This help wanted ad came up today in the vast reaches of the internet, posted on the 20th of this month:

Starting wage at for power plant managers in the private sector are listed between $130 and $150k. Plus bennies. In Wisconsin.

Huh. Funny thing is, none of the power companies I've looked at so far are listing any openings for a Power Plant manager in Wisconsin.

Now, I am certain that this is completely coincidental, that multiple Power Plant managers would be needed in Wisconsin, when the power companies don't seem to be hiring any themselves. And the state owned plants already have their own power plant managers, who make less than their private sector collegues.

Unless, I suppose, that maybe the fix is in?

Sure would be nice if somebody out there who has some sort of voice would get this out.
