I live in the FL panhandle in good ole boy Okascrewya County, where in the last year the sheriff of 13 years was convicted and sitting in a federal prison for theft, bribery, wire fraud and conspiracy. Our tax collector of 16 years handed out $692,000 in bonuses in 3 years but only to the employees that helped him run his BBQ show and virtual ministries on and off the county clock and he was not indicted but still running his little empire, and our House Speaker Ray Sansom was indicted due to falsely securing $6 million in taxpayer money to construct an aircraft hangar for a friend and major Republican donor. Common denominator here...all 3 are rethuglicans.

The things I am proud of and what keeps me here are; my family/friends, our military and our beautiful beaches, it sure isn't our local right wing leadership.

and is exactly what is wrong with alot of the religious right. They are self righteous hippocrates and there is a special place in hell for them. From now on, I'm going to just take for fact that the zealot spewing condemnation and screaming the loudest against some unthinkable (fun i'm sure) act are the very ones secretly participating in said unthinkable act.

I have 3 grown children, I would've had 4 had I not chose to terminate a pregnancy. I've never had regrets, have never been depressed or fixated on it as it was a very informed and hard decision that my husband and I made on what was best for me and our family at the time.

I am sitting here in disbeleif of the Stupac ammendment that was adopted...!! What astounds me is that women will have more restricitons on their reproductive rights and a harder time terminating a pregnancy than I did 22 years ago and I was in the bible belt!!!

if you like the Health Care Reform, thank women and girls whose reproductive rights were sacrificed in order to get the reform passed.

On another note...the democrats that voted with Stupid Ass Stupac need to return their democrat cards right now and switch parties so as not to fool us and themselves another minute.

Now everyone else off the bipartisan bus. It barely starts and when it does, it sputters and stalls. We tried that ride, it don't work, move on.

then by all means let it be a two way door. Let the state in the church and tax em on all their tangible and intangible properties, estates, tithes, etc.... you can bet your ass as soon as they got the first tax bill, they will be screaming Separation of Church and State.

Oh and a side note, they sure do love their children don’t they:

Italy 97 % catholic population: “Alarmed by the rising number of abandoned newborn babies, Italy is finding high-tech ways for mothers to safely leave their infants without being seen. The idea of a safe receptacle for an unwanted infant is not new. In 1198, Pope Innocent III was dismayed by the number of newborns caught in the nets of fishermen on the Tiber River. He ordered the first Medieval "foundling wheel" — a rotating platform located in the wall of a church that allowed women to anonymously leave their newborns. Today's version, located at a hospital in one of Rome's poorest districts, resembles a large ATM.”

Mexico 95% catholic population: Mexico City has 1,900,000 underprivileged and street children. 240,000 of these are abandoned children. This is just one large city.

just saying.....

I'm scared to go out at night. Kidding. But it isn't easy living among such fools. True story. I had jury duty this last Monday at least 300 showed, we sat cramped in a room like sardines, i was literally a captive audience to Fox news blaring in front of me. The woman to my right was reading Revelations, a study guide to sunday school teachers and 2 people behind me were birthers, as soon as I heard some redneck woman saying , "well hell, he ain't got no birth certificate" I turned around and literally laughed in her face. She looked at me like I had 3 eyes and shut up for about 1 damn minute. Worst Monday ever!

oh, I mean, programs will have to ask their flocks to tithe a little bigger so they can fund their own brand of BS.
