and was treated to the morning sunshine of Michelle Malkin. As if that wasn't bad enough, here's what the banner at the bottom of the screen said:

DUPNIK UNDER FIRE

then below that:

Malkin: Dupnik Worst Sheriff in America

Under fire by whom? Uh, Fox News, and all the other shameful Right-Wing media. All I could do was laugh, shake my head, and quickly turn the channel. So, because Fox is temporarily afraid to rock the boat too much, they've decided on making Sheriff Dupnik the poster boy for all that ails this country. If I recall correctly, in his comments Dupnik made absolutely no reference to any specific political party or media outlet.

Is this the ultimate example of a guilty conscience?

A year or so ago a liberal friend of mine told me about this guy he knew who was a raging conservative and they regularly had some heated political debates on his friend's Facebook wall. The guy had basically turned his wall into a place for Teabaggers to congregate and vent about the evils of the Obama administration. He gave me the guy's name and told me to send a friend request; he'd happily accept and it would be a lot of fun arguing with these irrational "small guvment" bigots.

Well, it was, until I was also exposed to another guy who clearly reveled in being the Wall "bully." He spent all his time raging against the evil, socialist/communist/Nazi Liberals who were the reason for all the problems of the country, and the world. He's a stereotypical extreme conservative/Constitutionalist who feels he has a moral and intellectual superiority over anyone who disagrees with him; even a little.

Well, yesterday I made a snarky little response to a post he made about citizens potentially having to pay back a certain Obama tax credit from last year. I just wrote some sarcastic garbage about how this should make the Teabaggers happy, nothing in life is free (especially from the Guv'ment) and that these people should've been aware of this potential repayment - it's call "personal responsibility," and if the repayment hurts, you still have the freedom to "pull yourself up by your bootstraps," etc. You know, the usual Right-Wing chatter about "freedom" and "patriotism."

In fact, here's my entire comment - "Thought you tea partiers were against handouts. This should make you happy, yes? Can't have it both ways. Gotta pull your weight. Taxpayers should have realized this long before now; it's called personal responsibility. If this repayment hurts may I suggest you pull yourself up by your bootstraps and just work a little harder."

Well...I wasn't expecting his response. After the usual shyte about socialist Obama trying to take all his money and give it to undeserving deadbeats he ended with this line - "Furthermore, Scotty, if you were in my presence if you had said that and if I thought you were serious I would BEAT YOUR ASS within an inch of your life!"

I just wanted to share the inner-workings of the teabagger, firsthand. What I wrote had no violent or antagonizing overtones, I thought I was clearly being snarky (and my posting history on this wall should've indicated that, as well), but the humorless teabagger is so friggin' angry over this Democratic president, who has acted more REPUBLICAN than anything, that they are constantly walking through life in a kind of simmering rage. I made it clear that I wouldn't be responding to his posts or comments anymore and used some four-letter words in the process. He, of course, blasted back with more rage (even bringing Nancy Pelosi's name in, who I never even mentioned LOL), and clarified that his threat of beating me up was not a threat but a promise.

In summation, these are the people trying to "take their country back." It's fueled by hatred, nothing more. And you CAN'T reason with their blind faith dogma toward all things conservative.

Just wanted to share.

People making over $250,000 a year are the greatest people in America. They are the earners, the employers, the distilled and refined. They have burdens and stress the likes of which everyday average working stiffs can't even begin to fathom. They want only the best and demand excellence and luxury.

And to return their tax rates to ALMOST TEN YEARS AGO is, quite simply, Un-American. We all remember the Great Rich Depression of 1999, when the richest among us were bedraggled with the prospect of becoming second summer-home-less.

No, my fellow Americans, when times are tough it's up to the middle and working class of this country to shoulder the burden.

What's wrong with us? Why is our president not fighting for the bottom 95%? Why are we letting the elite turn a temporary tax cut for the rich into an untouchable Sacred Cow, while preaching fiscal responsibility from the other side of their lying, lecherous mouths? When times are tough the rich are asked to do NOTHING. To sacrifice NOTHING. That is, and has always been, the job of the blue collar.

I can't take it anymore. Let the top 5% go back to paying taxes at the level of ten years ago. So what, they won't even miss it. It's not a "redistribution of wealth," as the idiot Right try and claim; it's an expiration of something temporary, that they don't need anymore. And since it's a proven fact it will give the government 700 billion dollars over the next ten years it should be a no-brainer.

But, unfortunately, those same top 5% own 99.999% of the outlets to plead this case. You think they're listening to US? Hardly. WE sit and watch THEM. We get angry. They go home and count their money.

Starting Wednesday, November 3rd, 2010:

FINALLY, White Christians will, officially, rule the land. America will be what it was always meant to be; a Christian Nation. No more will frightened Christians be persecuted for their beliefs. America will stand for one God, where worship in all public venues is not only encouraged but morally right, and you can CHOOSE (we still have freedom and choices in this country) to either join in or keep your godless heathen mouths shut. But if you are NOT a white Christian, fear not, for you will still be "allowed" to live here, too. Just keep your evil, violent Muslim thoughts to yourself, and if you're gay, that's fine, but it will be a class-A felony to "rub our noses in it" in any way.

If you are not rich, that's ok, we still love you. Just stop being so darn lazy. You have the CHOICE (see, more choices in a free society) to either pull yourselves up by your bootstraps or...well, that's not really our problem. Why not inherit some wealth? It sure worked out for many of us Teabaggers. Or start a small business. Banks may give you a small business loan, but they probably won't. You're poor, for crying out loud, and your collateral of a Kirby Puckett rookie card and 9/11 commemorative plate just don't quite cut it. But if you do somehow get a loan (it could happen, government sure ain't gonna interfere), and that business fails, well, that's beautiful capitalism in full bloom. Just don't come begging for a handout. So I guess all I can really say about your poverty, besides it being completely self-inflicted, is...shoot, pull yourself up by those bootstraps. I know I feel better

Education is more important now than ever before, as manufacturing has completely gone overseas. Problem is all these public schools are sucking our tax dollars dry, so get your kids in private schools, pronto, cuz public education will become a history lesson. Can't afford private schooling? Get on a voucher program. Didn't get one? Cripes, home school. Home school transcripts getting laughed at by private colleges? Jeez, don't know what to tell ya. Why didn't you get your kids in private schools like I told you? See how wonderful privatized education is!

You spend your entire adult life working. So it stands to reason you've had plenty of time to save everything you'll need for retirement. Well, I HOPE so anyway, because that ponzi scheme Social Security is going bye-bye. We've given you tips on investing in the stock market, but your retirement portfolio went belly-up during the great Wall St. crash of 2023. Oops, sucks to be you. Good news, though, you're only 50, so you have another twenty, twenty-five years to save another nest egg. You ARE willing to work until you're 75, right? Hmm, guess it doesn't really matter if you are or not, cuz that's what you'll be doing

So join me in celebrating our new United States of Christian America, Inc. Where we've privatized literally everything. I don't even really know why we still have a government now. I guess they're still good for bombing more oil-rich countries. And I suppose they're a good middle-man for our cash to Wall St.'s pockets. I mean, we should at least keep giving the illusion of a representative society, right? Heck, who wants to think about the new reality that Corporate America is all the representation we have left in Washington? Next on the agenda, the individual's right to sell their single vote to the corporation of their choice (huh, huh? More CHOICES!) for a loaf of bread or shiny new bible.

Amen*.
