Wed May 31st 2006, 05:33 PM On the issue of protest and wondering why people aren't in the streets, he's right on the money.
While there have been token demos they are too, few, too nice, and too late. He's from the 60's and he knows what protesting is. In the 60's they didn't come running out there to get the story either. Today, (it's widely wined) people think 'hey we had a protest three months ago and the media didn't report it'. Hell protest to be effective has to be repeated until they can't be ignored. If the ...

Tue May 30th 2006, 12:10 AM that one day the neocomms would make it all the way to full power. Believe it or not it is the best thing that could have ever happened to the 60's revolution. When people ask what ever happened to the 60's revolution I've been saying for years nothing, it's not over yet. I've always known in my heart that we would leave this place better then we found it. The generation was just to much of an earth event to believe any other way. Any one that was there during Nam would tell you this.
The b...

Mon May 29th 2006, 04:34 PM The primary reason this hasn't happened before is no congressman has ever refused to cooperate with legal subpoenas for eight months like Jefferson did. The DOJ investigators, and I'm not talking about the front guys, Gonzales, Muller, et al but the first tier investigators have the biggest corruption scandal reaching more then 15 members that have already been reported, and no telling how many more will get thrown onto the pile, the FBI has ever seen.
Hastert, and friends aren't protecting th...

Fri May 26th 2006, 07:01 PM When I began to pursue this issue in Oregon I invariably ended up at the Public Utilities Commission for jurisdiction. The Federal pursuit was all but out of reach without significant funds and, most definitely is the job for a large and sufficiently more powerful body then the individual. In Oregon that job has fallen to the ACLU. They have entered into a large and growing (18 states Monday, 20 as of this morning) number of state challenges to state Utilities Commissions.

Thu May 25th 2006, 02:25 PM My read on this whole thing is quite different then all the hypotheses flying around in both MSM and DU type forums.
First: Jefferson takes $$$, on film, to support a certain position on a bill to grease skids for an undeserving crony, (prema fascia being they wouldn’t need to bribe on a deserving measure).
Second: Others HAD to have been involved to gain such support for an undeserving measure as Jefferson could not by himself get the crony what he wanted.
Third: Given the players alrea...

Wed May 24th 2006, 04:37 PM Al is in a dance with HC. He will not utter the "C" word until HC does. HC is trying to deflect the dems to not focus on 2008 and to focus on 2006 'like me' (HC). This while lining up huge coffers and allies like R. Murdock and others. Her hopes are to emerge from the other side of Nov. with an overwhelming commanding lead that no one could over come.
For this reason I'm urging to throw water on all the "pushes" to not focus on anything other than 2006. We can and I trust will, be able to f...

Fri May 19th 2006, 11:52 PM There are numerous guidelines involved with pardons, but all are advisory both in the statute wording and in exact wording of the final Sec. 1.10 I'll leave out all the numerous things that are done normally and only quote the part that is most pertinent to your question, 'Re:could Rove be pardoned in secret'.
Presidential Pardons: Legal Guidelines
From Title 28, Code of Federal Regulations
Sec. 1.10 Advisory nature of regulations.
The regulations contained in this part are advisory...

Fri May 19th 2006, 08:04 PM Nuestar (google CEO Jeff Ganek) is the group fronting AT&T and others for thier NSA activity. What is truly going on here gets real complex real fast even to someone in the industry that is familiar with the language and processes.
This is a job for investigative reporters (and organizations) with a staff of investigators working on following this individual and his business activities. Those investigators should look closer at the group of interests he is involved. Look at Nuelevel in addi...

'but it escapes me why they would want to know what I was posting or emailing. Sre I've posted a lot of things negative about the Pubs, but just because they know what I'm thinking sure isn't going to make me vote for a PUB!
Their interest is not to get you to vote repuke. It is possible that any given piece of mail is not incriminating. But it might be incriminating without you even realizing it, for example in who you sent it to. Let's say you like to post to a blog. The blog gets bu...

Tue May 16th 2006, 03:36 PM It's a given as far as I'm concerned the Rovian twist is to get HC to be the nominee. They know it will generate tons of cash from their base and they know that, the last I remember was at 39%, would refuse to vote for her no matter what the circumstances or opposing candidate might be. They've polled and numerous polls confirm there is a decided hillary hate machine in play here and don't flame me for that I'm just stating an overwhelming perception. Thus the Rovian ploy here would love to, a...

Mon May 15th 2006, 08:18 PM Whether removal is by resignation or impeachment is irrelevant. It's the same thing. Removal first. The important point as far as contributing to the thread is will or can Fritz indite Cheney. My point here, as most are saying 'go get both', is understand the grey area, or better yet not complicate the understanding of a complex legal issue to suffice, this is ROVE now and maybe somehow, maybe, Cheney later.
I don't wish to see every one breaking out the popcorn around waiting for a Fritz...

Mon May 15th 2006, 07:35 PM There is no absolute bar with the clear wording that says "A constitutional officer can not be indicted". As a matter of practice though as it is considered a "gray area" meaning it has never been tested or there is conflicting wording in the text of the US Constitution it is widely excepted that the method for both P & VP should be removed first, and that method is by impeachment, before any indictment should be handed down.
Burr a sitting President was in fact indicted, which he eluded by ...

Sun May 14th 2006, 08:19 PM A number of threads have been occurring lately on the state of the economy. They have a common denominator of ‘shit going to hit the fan’. It’s important that the blogosphere get some kind of handle on this discussion as the whole dammed mess to clean up is going to shortly land in our laps and we got to do the cleaning; and you can rest assured this shit really stinks.
Whereas the current norm of absolute failure of MSM community to assist the public in the reality of complex issue decisio...

Sat May 13th 2006, 11:05 PM Expect more and increasingly sophisticated tactics coming into play. The repubs have come to a consensus. The enemy are not the terrorists, the enemy is us the online community. They are now fully aware that we are the only ones that stand in the way of world neocon domination. Take a good look. Who's opposing them, the middle of the roaders. The Democrats. Congress. There is no entity that can stop them or even willing to oppose them. WE are THE only ones that haven't had their gray ma...
