GEORGE Bush larked about with a 6ft Easter Bunny yesterday… as his troops mourned their 4,000th death in Iraq.

The grim milestone was reached after four US servicemen were killed when their patrol in southern Baghdad was hit by a roadside bomb on Easter Sunday.

The President was pictured hugging the 6ft bunny at the White House as children as young as seven took over the South Lawn for the Easter egg roll, which dates back to 1878. (rest at the link)

Here is the latest effort from Brave New Films. It's a great compilation of gratuitous sex clips from Fox News that demonstrate how Fox aims for the lowest common denominator. The link includes a petition to the FCC to protest that cable viewers should not have to pay for Fox's pandering to the dirty old men in its audience.

The GOP already has its marching orders. "Cut and run" is their phrase of the moment and the one we're already hearing and will continue to hear from now until November. Like the "tax and spend" and "flip flop" b.s. we've had to fight in the past, the GOP already has us on the defensive. This is not a good sign. We need to fight them back on their own terms. Where's our "cut and run"? We need something short and sweet that gets the message across to Joe Public Voter.
