kind of odd blurry shots of the big guys I thought the crowd was wonderful- and amazed how Obama really noticed folks in the crowd-like when someone needed help- asked for a medic- and then went on flawlessly. What an honor and thrill to be there!!!!

UNCOUNTED
The New Math of American Elections
Thursday, April 17, 2008 at 7:00pm Carousel Cinema Greensboro
Friday, April 18, 2008 at 7:00pm Burlington, NC

Documentary, "Uncounted"
7 p.m. Thursday, April 17
Carousel Cinema, 1305 Battleground Ave., Greensboro

This explosive new documentary shows how the election fraud that changed the outcome of the 2004 national election led to even greater fraud in 2006 and now threatens the integrity of the 2008 election. Factual evidence, unassailable logic, whistleblower testimony, and the committed work of election integrity activists drive home the inescapable conclusion of massive electoral fraud. This powerful documentary will prompt serious discussion of the meaning of the corruption of the electoral process for our democracy. Emmy award winning director David Earnhardt will be at the Carousel for Q & A after the viewing.

Note: Theater prices at the Carousel are $8.75, with special rates for seniors, students and children.
"Uncounted" will also be shown on April 18, 2008 in Burlington.

We also had a table set up during the festival that followed and many people donated $ for buttons and bumper stickers and took information. Our Impeach town Hall is on the 15th.

Democrats.com are advocating for Impeachemnt Wednesdays -of course the day doesn't really matter. Also of course the 4th of July is coming. Have you made plans to make it a meaningful 4th?
Please post pics here or in your own thread. In Greensboro World Can't Wait will have a float in the parade and other people with signs etc. tuesday/tomorrow is the day they have picked for the local weekly impeachment vigil. Unfortunately, I usually I can't make it due to work, but plan to attend this week. I will post more pics later;

STOP the WARS!!! -in Afghanistan and Iraq; No Attack on Iran!

Impeach Bush/Cheney for War Crimes and Crimes Against Humanity

Support Military Resisters!

George Bush and Dick Cheney must be impeached for war crimes and crimes against humanity! Millions are against the war, spying, torture, the abandoning of Katrina survivors, a spreading theocracy and suppression of science—and want the whole disaster of the Bush regime to be brought to a halt. The more we demand impeachment, Bush's war options will grow more limited; the more his war crimes are exposed, the greater the impetus for his removal and repudiation.

It is time we rise to this challenge in unity with each other. The opposition to the war people feel in their hearts must become something they put on the streets. Resistance to the war from within the military by people like Lt. Ehren Watada and many, many others must be supported and encouraged by people outside of the military. And the invasion of Iran MUST NOT HAPPEN.

Featured Speaker:
Cindy Sheehan
Founder, Gold Star Families for Peace

Cindy Sheehan is an internationally known mom and peace & social justice advocate whose son, Army Specialist Casey A. Sheehan, was killed in action in Sadr City, Baghdad, on April 4, 2004. As an act of protest against the war, in August 2005 Cindy took a stand outside of George Bush's home in Crawford, Texas, asking what noble cause her son died for. She is also a central leader in the movement to impeach President George W. Bush.

The people are on our side, the momentum is on our side, the whole world is on our side. The challenge: are we going to move heaven and earth to remove the criminal Bush regime, ending the war and repudiating the direction they've taken this society?

April 21st, 12 noon
Downtown Greensboro, Governmental Plaza, Greene St.

Subject: PICS from P&A rally in Greensboro
Message:
Our guest speaker arrived by an overnight bus, and temps that dropped from 80 down to low 40's and very windy, resulted in less attendees and we also had folks that went to the March on the Pentagon and Fayetteville rallies. We also missed the press conference the eve before, BUT our speakers were wonderful, and the 50 or so attendeees were great!
Here are a few pics and links for more.
