And we couldn't figure out why the republician woman was removed.

Well, Randi Rhodes just mentioned that this woman had stopped visting at Walter Reed because of the horrors she saw there. She tried to get someone to listen and get things fixed. But no one would do anything, and her husband was told to shut her up.

Her "support the troops" tshirt was about that.

Wow.

Started watching the first episode and was shocked and disappointed when the first cut was made.

About half-way through, the wanna-be superheros get to the "Secret Lair" and right off three are considered for elimination.

Why? One makes action figures and plans to sell the one of himself, if he wins. One jokes about all the cute beefcake.

And last. A Vin Diesel look-alike who is hot to kill everyone, especially in the Middle East (so why isn't this ball-less fascist in the army right if he's suck hot shit?).

And who gets cut?

I was sure it had to be the homicidal manic? Who wants that kind of creep in this show.

Oh, but no.

It's the guy who plans to do what Stan Lee has done for years. Make a little money.

Oh, and the action figure guy is gay. Methinks Stan decided he really didn't want a gay superhero. Better to have a brainless chickenhawk instead.

So I turned it off and don't plan to watch the rest.

It's disappointing because until then it was fun.

I also found it weird Stan refuses to be in the same room as the rest. Communicates via closed circuit tv.
