Some neighbors can be sort of fun to watch. We've had this neighbor for many years who is definitely a card carrying red neck. I don't consider that to be a problem as we have had a few issues arise in the past that were settled very calmly and fairly. What I find ironic is a situation that came up when he and my husband were chatting during the campaign and this neighbor stated that he wasn't voting for no gd *&%*&%*#. That was his privilege of course. Well, after the election of Obama he was quite upset, and one of his daughters came back home to live with her parents yet another time after having issues with boyfriend. When we were chatting with this daughter she said she was now engaged and her fiance came home with her. That gentleman happened to be a very nice black guy . I just chuckled. I guess her Dad was not a happy camper and decided to stay somewhere else while they were there, how very sad for her, and what a loss for her Dad. I do hope that it turns around for all of them, they've moved out on their own and he's back home again. What a waste all of that unfounded hate is. I'm hoping that it works out ok, but I could not help but enjoy the irony.
