by every definition, no matter if you use the fraud argument or the murder argument, this is treason.

Sitting here smoking my cancer sticks and working on trying to figure out the polonium drama (if you don't know what I mean, go to ) and I realized the following... going to post from my blog:

"My theory on the mechanism:

I have said before that I believe that the Polonium was not directly ingested by Alex, but was rather in something belonging to him or something that he used was laced with the polonium. But remember, you want to use one weapon against several people, and you don't want to use too much as it may be identified. What kind of delivery mechanism could both be undetected, potent, transmittable, and have the ability to cause so much confusion in terms of the evidence trail?

If Mario is not involved, but contaminated, what did he share with Alex and when? The same question applies to Alex's wife. What was it, a cup? No, because Mario did not go home to visit Alex's family.

How about this:

A cigarette. In fact, a cigarette would be an extremely powerful way to distribute the polonium via air, causing another to inhale it. But since the only people that would inhale for any real duration would be people in close proximity to the victim, it is certain to do the trick as smoking at most places is not allowed and also because in small vapor qualities it would not be necessarily lethal, so not too much of a danger to the British public, although somewhat of a danger if things went badly.

Let us then assume the polonium was brought into England by several agents, all bringing in cigarettes cartons. That would explain why an overhead was contaminated as well as a seat on a particular flight.

Imagine Alex going about his day, smoking. Meeting Mario for lunch, who only inhaled some of the poison. This would also account for some of the radiation sites that do not have a bodily fluid deposit, like urine for example. Most importantly, It would also account for the delayed reaction in Mario and also Alex's wife, because if they are non-smokers, they would not have directly ingested the Polonium, rather, they would have inhaled it. Alex, however, would have directly ingested it, both via his mouth and via inhalation, speeding up his death. The more he smoked, the worse it got, which might account for why there are places that are more contaminated than others and also out of order of his movements."

Now I have to see if this pans out via atomic experts, but this would be one hell of a dangerous weapon.

Hey folks, anyone going to this by chance? /

This list is incredible, from fiction to politics, to satire. Helen Thomas, Isabella Allende, Huffington, Sen. Obama, even Dori Bush (sister of George) on her new book.

This is from a South Florida paper:

"Camila Alzate can’t understand why her father is no longer with her.

All the 4-year-old remembers is that Cape Coral police arrived one morning and took him away.

“First I told her that Dad was arrested for owing traffic tickets, and nothing more,” said Camila’s mother, Maritza Villegas.

Camila’s father, Edinson Alzate, 38, was one of 163 immigrants arrested Sept. 20 and 21 by Immigration and Citizenship Enforcement officers during sweeps in Southwest Florida.

ICE officials said agents targeted undocumented immigrants with criminal pasts or deportation orders against them. They won’t discuss individual cases.

Neither Alzate nor his wife have criminal records, and since 2002, they have received work permits and valid Social Security numbers. The Colombian family was trying to obtain permanent residency based on a political-asylum request."

Bella was arrested on Sept. 19. Remember I told you "company Bella" had no illegals (per what Bella told us)? This man is not part of her group, so it appears that this program is not targeting illegals... now, people we need a section or something to keep track of each of these people when we get a name, and such... can anyone do a database?

For additional info on this, Google "operation return to sender" or read my account thus far of my cousin Bella's story:

I have no words for this:

"An email sent by United States Central Command (CENTCOM) to bloggers about the "global war on terror" (GWOT) has been obtained by RAW STORY.

CENTCOM announced earlier this year that a team of employees would be " bloggers who are posting inaccurate or untrue information, as well as bloggers who are posting incomplete information."

The email was not addressed to RAW STORY.

"The main interest is to drive their readers to our site," Maj. Richard J. McNorton, chief of CENTCOM "engagement operations" said in a March release.

In the same announcement, McNorton said that the emails have a "viral effect," as many bloggers then link to the CENTCOM website, driving Internet news consumers to CENTCOM's Web site."

Read the email (mods, I have permission to post this email in full):
Subject: Just visited your site Date: Mon, 16 Oct 2006 11:36:07 -0400 From: "Erickson, Christopher J. SPC USA" To:

My name is SPC Chris Erickson with U.S. Central Command Public Affairs. I came across your blog today and noticed your interest in different topics, particularly on the GWOT.

As a member of the US military, I like seeing open discussions on the happenings of the world, although many times I’m not able to get involved (especially if it gets political). I would like to invite you to check out our web site, . It’s one more resource for information and you’re free to use any of it (video, audio, photos and articles) in conversations on your blog.

Also, if you would like, you can be added to our mailing list. We send out news stories and press releases about US military and coalition forces operations, humanitarian and reconstruction efforts. This information is also available via RSS on our site. Most of the time we can get CENTCOM information out to bloggers before it appears in the main stream media.

I appreciate your time today and I do look forward to hearing back from you.

Hey all, first off, thanks for all of your support. The latest is worse than I thought and I need to correct an error. Apparently ICE told Bella and her family that they were moving her to Krome, but somewhere during transport they took her to the Monroe dent ion facility, which is worse, because it is not an immigration detention center, but a criminal detention center.

During transport, bella was shackled and forced to lay on the floor of the van. She was taunted by her drivers (wait till I get their names) who said things like "your lawyer fought hard for you, and then he dropped your case" and "the judge was going to let you go home today, but too bad" or something like that. I am getting this all second-hand, but that is roughly what was said to her. They knew her lawyers name and particulars, which leaves us to wonder how drivers got a hold of her file. In any case, sometime between them leaving for Krome and arriving for Monroe, they learned that Krome had become far too overcrowded because of recent raids.

They have now given her 1 of 4 medications, but not the other three. Her legs continue to swell as are her knees. She is in low spirits and crying a great deal. She is frightened.

Today, for Yom Kippur, the holiest of Jewish holidays they would not give her any prayer books or let her see a rabbi.

She is being held in a large cell with 50-80 women (i don't have the exact number), who are all convicted of various crimes, including murder.

That is the latest. But as bad as Krome was, at least she may have seen an immigration judge. At Monroe, she is simply locked up. Tomorrow will be three weeks since she was detained without charge. The family is getting desperate as her need for meds is getting much stronger.

Thank you for all of your support. I will keep you posted, if I don't go batty first.

I did the heavy screaming and let John have sense enough to write an article on the AP plagiarism mess. While I find the AP's actions unethical, I find their excuses pathetic and quite frankly still missing something... truth maybe, attribution, something regarding integrity? Ya know, that kind of stuff.

Associated Press says they based article on Raw Story report but refuses to credit or correct

The Associated Press has confirmed using a Raw Story report as the basis for a Mar. 14 article detailing a change to national security clearance policies but has refused to issue credit for the piece.

Their article, "Security Clearance Rules May Impede Gays," signaled an apparent Bush Administration attempt to tighten security clearances with regard to gay Americans. It attributed the discovery of the clearance changes to gay rights groups – a factually inaccurate statement which the agency has refused to correct. The discovery was made by Larisa Alexandrovna, Raw Story's Managing News Editor, and John Byrne, Raw Story's Executive Editor.

Raw Story had requested a correction from the AP late last week. Katherine Shrader, the AP national security correspondent who authored the article, told us she had spoken with her editor and that no correction would be made.

"I've talked it over with our bureau chief and we're not going to be doing that," Shrader said.

"Raw Story then spoke with Stokes, AP’s Director of Media Relations. Stokes took careful notes regarding our concerns and said he would investigate our claims. He found that the AP had, indeed, gotten our article from "human rights groups" but that it was AP policy not to credit blogs.

"It does turn out that we don't give mentions to blogs when we're researching our stories and when we've been given material by others such as in this case human rights groups that brought this stuff to us that we independently check," Stokes said in a voicemail message."

here is the best part, now what they are saying is this:

Stokes elaborated Tuesday, saying the AP does give credit to blogs. He said the reason Raw Story wasn’t credited in the Mar. 14 article was because the bureau “hadn’t heard of” Raw Story, and because they had received the article from third-party groups. He said the agency would be issuing a statement, most likely later today.

“We do credit blogs that we know,” Stokes said. “We had no idea who you were.”

but do they attribute, nope!

How can anyone who sent these folks to war based on lies look them in the face and explain the devastation of Katrina and the fall of New Orleans? What do we tell them? While you were gone, no one noticed that your city fell and your families died? Check out this amazing veterans march for peace and justice. Their mission statement is below.

Veterans For Peace (VFP), Iraq Veterans Against the War (IVAW), Vietnam Veterans Against the War (VVAW), Military Families Speak Out (MFSO), and Gold Star Families for Peace (GSFP), at the call of the Mobile Veterans For Peace Chapter #130, will conduct a march between Mobile, AL, and New Orleans, LA, from March 14-19, 2006 -- the third anniversary of the invasion and occupation of Iraq.

This historical event highlights the connections between the economic and human cost of war in the Middle East and the failure of our government to respond to human needs at home, especially the needs of poor people and people of color.

The government's negligent and often hostile response to hurricane survivors is mirrored by that same government's continued commitment to an illegal, immoral war fought at a staggering cost.

These are twin disasters, and the veterans of wars abroad along with the survivors of Katrina and Rita are joining together for this march and caravan to establish ties of material solidarity between those who oppose the war abroad and the social and economic costs for working people at home.
