A. To American (citizen) parents on American soil B. To American (Citizen) parents on Non-American soil (Military base... My beau, The Commie, says it's because they are acting like they are still in charge and that the are still arrogant in thinking they are right. I think my emotions are much more base than that. Do any of you feel this? Even on occasion?

While I am fortunate enough to have friends that adhere to almost faith imaginable (with whom I have discussed the Taliban and such), I am not fortunate enough to any Sikh friends to discuss this with. I have also read a good deal about what Hindus and others feel about it. As a Wiccan, I can tell you that "do what you will, harm none." just about sums up our position. Does anyone here have in sight into what the Sikhs are thinking about this,.... war on terror?

It seems here at school I have become a bit of a fag-hag (my gay students used this term, as do many of my gay friends). I teach in a place that must be hell for young gay black, latino or asian men,.... boys (?). A lot of teachers give them crap, but they give each other even more crap. My question: How does a straight white woman teach these kids the importance of building a supportive, unified, dignified gay community? All of this effort at Bipartisanship in a set up on the part of Obama. I hope that he REALLY doesn't expect that they will willingly work with us. I'm hoping he's just putting his hand out in order for us (and those that formally voted for rethuglican) to see it get bitten so that after that we can just roll over them to fix this mess and accomplish our goals. What are your thoughts?

Victor Davidson is a 16 year old history student of mine and Phoebus High School in Hampton, Va. He is in the hospital (CHKD. Norfolk) very ill. He has sickle cell and things do not look good for him right now. His mom and I would appreciate the positive vibes and love sent his way. YET another reason to hate bush...... Who knows what wonders stem cell research could hold for Victor and his family?

I just traded my 2003 mitsubushi galant (72,000 mi) in for a 2006 Nissan sentra.... (18,000 mi)... I really dig the new rod, but miss little bells and whistles that the galant had like keyless entry. Here's the dumb question: If a car doesn't have automatic door locks, it can never have keyless entry right?

Assure me that you have taught your children to say "Please" and "Thank you" at the appropriate moments. Assure me that you have taught them that, while in public, they must respect those around them in terms of personal space and fairness "of the game." Do your children look where they are going? How may of you have been to Colonial Williamsburg? Probably a ton. It is right up the 64 from where I live in Norfolk and a perfect place for a quick get away. The Commie (my SO) and I could not take a bunch of time off so we went there this week. We did the whole Busch Gardens thing and got a "Capital Citizen" pass and went touring the colonial area. The whole thing appeared very peaceful and well, rather conservative. By that I mean reserved, family oriented. But here is what else I noticed. ...
