After spending the last several weeks watching people's money slip from their fingers at a rapid rate, while helping them through their turmoil, I come home every night and get on my favorite site (besides DU of course, but sometimes this place can bring me down) and I keep track of this website. Today was an especially horrible day at work with the dow crashing another day, but it was a great day when I opened up my site. I have been keeping track of this thing for almost 3 months and it was bright red when I first discovered it. Little by little I have watched it grow blue. Today we passed the race and still it's turning blue. Enjoy folks, it's about the only thing that I look forward to everyday. I know, I'm pathetic. LOL

I just read this on CNN cafertyfile today and I'm proud. I was proud on January 3rd, 2008, one of the coldest days of the year here in Iowa, when my intelligent state looked through the bullshit and saw the man best for the job. I'm so proud of the fact that a 95% white state, where people are educated and hard working, can decide when they see bullshit and put them in their place.

But the thing I'm most proud of is they haven't changed their minds, instead we are now a blue state according to the polls. If Iowa can see the light of day, there really is no reason why the rest of the country can't either.

Thanks Iowa for keeping intelligence a high priority and seeing through the same old politics and embracing a 21st century mindset. For the rest of the country take note....

This is going to be a rant, mostly against women and all against the group called PUMA. This one is for you.

I am a woman who was around when the REAL women's movement happened. Perhaps many of you don't remember what the true fight for women's liberation set out to be. We wanted equal rights. We didn't protest and burn our bra's for a bunch of spoiled, unsportsmanlike, whining female group of people. We fought for EQUAL RIGHTS. I'm not sure how your parents raised most of you, but there is a thing in life called competition. I know you have probably heard about it, it's what most of you do on a daily basis. You know, like making irrational decisions based on ignorance and spite.

But maybe unbeknown to all of you, running for the President of the United States is the ultimate of competitions. And with every competition there is a winner and a loser. Now maybe all of your parents were the ones (and I know the kind of parent) that tells their children that they are always winners. Well guess what folks, that's a lie. I hate to be the one to break the news to you, but in a competition you have a winner and a loser. And guess what guys, your person lost. She put up a hell of a fight I gotta give her that. But she lost. Plain and simple. Kind of like Nastia in gymnastics, she tied and she still lost. I don't remember her throwing a temper tantrum, she accepted second place an walked away. And she's all of 19 years old.

Now what appalls me most about all of you is where the hell was all of this temper tantrum behavior when Bush stole the election (he didn't win a good competition, he cheated and stole two elections). Where the hell were all of you? That is when we needed you to act like two year olds and make such a stink that someone would have had to pay attention. Some of us fought on DU for years, trying to wake you all up to the unfairness that had just taken place. I don't remember hearing a whole lot of bitchy female voices back in the days after the first STOLEN election.

I don't think women have a clue about what is going to happen with their vindictive vote for McShame. I don't think they have a clue on what life was like before we handed you EQUAL RIGHTS on a silver platter. But some of us women out here are furious with your stupid behavior. Your are purposely (or maybe your are all just really ignorant) but you are helping to unravel a lot of work that women before you helped to create, the reason why Hillary even had a chance to run. If I can repeat someone's words (KO said it to mcshame) grow the hell up. Seriously, your mother needed to smack you up on the side of your head and put some sense into your behavior. You should be glad that I'm not your mother, because your behavior is humiliating and should be punished harshly.

Have at your bitching back at me, truly I don't even care. But I will sit back and watch while you take us off the cliff with your ignorance, and I might even help push a couple of you over. You truly don't have any idea with what your fucking with. Just my thought.

Seriously folks, can I say something here.

Can everyone just take one step back, take a deep breath through your nose and out your mouth, find a comfortable chair and listen for just a calming moment.

I've been reading the hysteria on here today and I've been wanting to scream at all you people to just take a breath and realize ONE very important fact. We have 2 simple choices here, Obama or McCain. Plain and fucking simple, those are your two choices. We aren't trying to elect the next second coming Jesus H Christ, Buddha, Mohamed or any other deity you want to use. We have 2 choices, crusty ole Mc Same or Obama.

Reading the blogs and here today reminds me of Thanksgiving dinner with the dysfunctional family. You know the kind, sit around drumming up drama just so they can have some kind of emotional feeling. The authoritarians become louder, the fearful spread the doom. Come on folks, really do you want to be seen by the world as one big dysfunctional family?

We aren't all going to agree with Obama, he's not going to FUCK us, as you all appear to be saying, he's our choice, if you don't like him then McCain's your choice. If you don't like either one of those two then you can vote for some "retaaard always second place guy" like Nader or Barr or stay the fuck home. Those are your choices, now which one do you want.

One of the things that I have always taught my children "and believe me this place sounds like a bunch of whining teenagers" is every action you take has a consequence. Now the choices we have before us doesn't take real scholar to understand but let's break this down in easy terms.

First off, we have a black guy running for president. All you racists mother fuckers who would rather take your chances on the same old shit, crusty old white man who has done nothing but fuck our proud nation up another 4 to 8 years, turn your heads because you've already made up your minds. To all you poor ass, under educated, not so smart people (if that describes you please read on and learn)if you vote for the ole white guy we are going to have a bigger war, they will probably start coming for you because it will be the only job left that pays, you won't be able to drive that big ole truck or junkie caddy anymore because you won't be able to afford gas. You won't be able to feed the kids, or the grandkids because food is going to go through the roof. But if you vote for the black guy he will guarantee that you won't be marching off to war, he's probably going to help with getting some jobs back in your hometown and food might finally stay where its at instead of rising everyday. Sounds like a better choice huh?

Ok, for all the rest of you educated, interested folks. WE HAVE TWO CHOICES HERE, OBAMA OR MCCAIN. Now if you really would like to have your intelligence shine through, instead of crapping on the only candidate we have at this moment why not instead start using that energy to get YOUR (and whichever one you choose I don't care) candidate elected and shut up and put up. Obama is a black guy running for office. Now I'm not black myself but I've been on this planet enough to know that black people have to tow the line in both directions. They have to give in and take when they can. There is no insult there it's just an honest observation. Seriously, if you have sat back and watched carefully through the last 18 months you have notice that since Obama won Iowa he has been attacked, at every level, for everything no matter what. Now that shines of the great racist USA that we truly are, but this guy has towed the line, not falling on either side and done it pretty god damn graciously considering. For those of you that are voting for Obama, why not give it a break. I understand your pissed but think of the dysfunctional family, do you really want to be seen in the world as being someone seriously like that.
