She was known as jc at the DFA blog and as jaysea at Daily Kos. She did wonderful graphics for people, and she was active in the campaign from very early on.

Here is Donna's tribute to her at Daily Kos:

The Kos and DFA communities have lost a friend. On Mother's Day Kos diarist and incomparable graphic artist jaysea passed away.

Her wit and her ability to whip up just the right design were really special. On the DFA blog if you were talking about it, jc came up with a design about it. If there was something you wanted to know, she was a world class googler. She had the answer before you could get the question out.

I just thought y'all would want to know. And to get a glimpse of her graphic talent, here's a link to her blogs. Who knows how long they will continue to exist?

Update: I was just reminded that jaysea, or jc as she was known to the DFA community, designed the DFA logo. Her legacy lives on.

Here is the page of hers that is my favorite of all.
Take Your Country Back

She did not post often at Daily Kos, she more often posted at DFA blog and HEP.

Here are some of jc's graphics:

And though I don't think this picture is of her, she posted many pictures at the sites above. This caught my eye.

And a note just added at the HEP blog where there are more tributes to her. Their hometown in Lousiana was devastated by Katrina. Very recently she had lost her mother and grandmother. Almost an overload of grief.

she was living in LA at the time of the hurricane, and the city where she grew up, and went to high school, was devastated. She posted links to a number of pics to that little township then.

I don't see the links yet, but will look. Yes, I would call it grief overload.

Rest in peace, jc, jaysea.
