Would you like to read what he said? He honestly doesn't have a clue.

Carville, Matalin say primary season 'incomprehensible'

Every single initial strategy of this amazing primary season of every candidate on both sides has failed," Matalin said. "The reason is the same for the pundits and the strategists -- we don't know what we are doing in this cycle."

There are no templates or models that can account for the massive increase in interest and voter turnout during the primaries, Matalin said.

Carville agreed, noting that the turnout numbers defy explanation. "What we are watching is not historic, what we are watching is not groundbreaking. What we are watching is incomprehensible."

..."But the unmistakable trend, Carville noted, is that turnout increases are higher and more motivated among Democrats. "It is staggering the turnout we are seeing."

Yes, James, we are seeing staggering turnouts. Does something have to hit you right in the face to give you a clue?

You tried to bring down one of the main people who is driving this turnout during his tenure at the DNC. It is called the 50 State Strategy. There are political directors on the ground in states, there is a neighbor to neighbor reachout going on. Why do you think Dean travels and meets with group most of the time with media excluded? He doesn't want you to know...so you can't accuse him of something else.

You took a time, James, when we were all still glowing over our November 2006 wins. And then you deliberately and with malice burst the bubble. You accused that chairman of being incompetent and you implied the Clintons were in on it with you. Rahm as well.

Carville says the Clintons did not tell him to quit attacking Dean....he said silence was eloquent.

Flush with victory after the election, Rahm’s allies, led by Carville, try to mount a coup at the DNC by publicly attacking Dean and suggesting he be replaced by Harold Ford, a Tennessee moderate who just lost a Senate race. “You can’t go into 2008 having a party chairman that is completely disconnected from the congressional leadership and the campaign committees,” Carville tells me, further pounding the wedge that divides the Deaniacs and the Clintonites. When I ask if Rahm agrees, Carville says, “It’s not any secret that Rahm has expressed disdain for Dean and not very secret that Rahm and I are close. It doesn’t take a lot of dot-connecting here.”

What about the Clintons, who, given Hillary’s presidential ambitions, have more cause for concern about who runs the DNC in 2008? “Let’s just say nobody has called me telling me this is a bad idea. Sometimes silence is eloquence.” Not only did Carville’s coup fail but it arguably strengthened Dean, who, speaking before his state-party allies, mocked the attempt as a desperate attack from the “old Democratic Party.” Cutting his losses, Rahm quickly leaked word to the press that he and Dean had negotiated a truce.

And secondly, James, you forgot the most important thing of all. People are actually inspired by someone who does not do the DLC speak that has been drummed into our candidates for a couple of decades.

Barack Obama is driving the turnout, Howard Dean is behind the scenes driving the turn out.
And you go around with that wife of yours to all the speaking events....and you have the nerve to say you don't know why there is a huge turnout?

You need to go home to pink and red plaid living room, and sit there with Mary. That Pepto Bismol room, I call it.

And leave the ones who are inspiring us alone. Stop attacking, stop all of your put downs.
