Glad to see him do this. Wish he would drop his lawsuit against the DNC.

Sen. Geller supports Obama

Sen. Steve Geller who had been an uncommitted super-delegate announced he's supporting Sen. Barack Obama on Wednesday. Geller had previously told Buzz he didn't plan to endorse anyone while his lawsuit to seat delegates at Democratic National Convention was still ongoing. That lawsuit remains, but Geller says it's time, now that the primary season is over.

"Senator Obama had nothing to do with Florida losing all or a portion of its votes to the Convention. I am confident that we will ultimately get all of Florida's votes restored, and present a unified face in support of Senator Obama's Presidential campaign," Geller said.

Here is more about his lawsuit against Dean and the DNC.

Two pending lawsuits against the DNC

FORT LAUDERDALE, FL -- Three Florida delegates, including the state's Senate Democratic leader have filed a federal lawsuit against the Democratic National Committee claiming the DNC violated their constitutional rights by barring them from the party's national convention.

"This litigation addresses the view of Howard Dean and the Democratic National Committee that 1.75 million Democrats can be ignored at will,” said Geller. “We believe we’ve found a winning legal strategy that will once and for all force the DNC to not only obey its own rules but to listen to the voices of millions of Democrats in one of the most influential states in the nation.”

At least he endorsed. I hear there is pressure from fellow Floridians to not push the lawsuit...but I have no link just hearsay. I doubt he will listen any more than Victor DiMaio has listened.
