She has been all over the media circles saying that she isn't going to endorse Obama because he hasn't called her and asked her yet. She says she supports him...then goes on to list the things he's done to push away and hurt the poor helpless Clintons/Clinton supporters. WTF

Looks like someone needs a primary challenger. Her little "of course I support him, BUT..." line is BS. She supports him by feeding McCain campaigns talking points to the public. W T F

1. This is one where Hillary attacks Obama using Republican fear mongering on taxes. Obama has said that as a possible solution to the SS problem. Of course the mailer says it will be a trillion dollar tax increase on working Americans. That leave the impression of the middle class, but in reality Obama has said that if we raise the SS cap, that he would make sure there is a donut protecting "hard working families." Something along the line of only people earning more than 200,000 would have to pay more. Hmm... sounds kinda... progressive to me. Of course Hillary leaves out the details in the hope of scaring up votes.

On Eve Of Primary, Hillary Drops Negative Mailer Hitting Obama On Taxes

here in New Hampshire http://tpmelectioncentral.talkingpointsmem...
and here in Nevada http://www.politico.com/blogs/bensmith/010...

2. You may ask "what if right wing talking points on SS don't work?" Well, AFSCME on Hillary's behalf sent out this wonderful mailer in an attempt to scare voters into voting for Hillary.

"A Prime Minister is on the phone: They've lost a warhead," says the fictional memo on the front of the mailing.

The solution?

"Send in the right woman for the job."

http://www.politico.com/blogs/bensmith/010...

This disgusting tactic lead to some members of AFCSME to right this letter. Where they say they are "shocked and appalled" at the deceptive tactics.

http://thepage.time.com/letter-to-afscme-p... /

3. And another mailer attacking Obama on "possibly" raising the cap on SS for those over 200,000.

http://marcambinder.theatlantic.com/archiv...

4. If this still didn't seem enough for the Hillary campaign. They could always LIE by implying that Obama isn't pro-choice.

Barrack Obama. Unwilling to take a stand on a woman's right to choose.

http://tpmelectioncentral.talkingpointsmem...

Only problem is that... Obama voted present on those few Illinois state senate issues because Planned Parenthood asked him to vote present as part of Planned Parenthood's strategy. Ohh... and Obama has a 100% rating from Planned Parenthood and NARAL. More on this here:

http://thecapitolfaxblog.com/2007/12/04/ab... /

5. Just to mix it up here is another Hillary attack on Obama's SS this time a robocall that also wrongly accuses him of wanting to cut benefits. (Which, falls under his statements that everything is on the table. Even though he said it isn't a serious consideration.)

http://hotlineblog.nationaljournal.com/arc...

6. We all know that Hillary said MI (and thought the same logic fl) "doesn't count for anything" and now she says it should count based on Obama running national ads. Remember all the faux outrage about Obama advertising in FL by default. Well, Hillary did have her "supporters" run a robocall and GOTV operation. And while this robocall isn't a direct attack on Obama, it does show the absurdity of that big spectacle Hillary's campaign made of FL based on Obama running ads nationally on CNN and MSNBC.

http://hotlineblog.nationaljournal.com/arc...

7. In SC Hillary's campaign didn't even try to spin a lie. They just flat out lied. This time claiming that Obama would "dismantle the minimum wage."

here:http://www.observer.com/2008/obama-creates...
and here: http://hotlineblog.nationaljournal.com/arc...

8. I guess lying about Obama's policies wasn't enough. Hillary's campaign apparently decided that to appeal to religious bigots and racists. This robocall seemed to serve no purpose with the exception of emphasizing Obama's middle name of Hussein, mentioning it 4 times. I like the last line of "You just can't take a CHANCEHUSSEIN Obama." (Clinton loyalists will be quick to say that "there is nothing wrong with his middle name" of course that is bullshit.. These candidates have experts to poor over EVERY single word to make sure the word frames give the correct impression at all times. Also, how many robocalls will a campaign put out that say the name of the opposing candidate 4 times)

http://www.politico.com/blogs/bensmith/010...

9. Of course here is where we get the hypocritical BS from Hillary herself. She says that Obama attacked her health care plan unfairly. (I personally think there is nothing wrong with criticizing someone else's positions.) Hillary of course forgets that she has been attacking Obama's health care plan too. This attack is over the lack of a mandate. Hillary shows a diverse group of people and the mailer asks "Which of these people doesn't deserve health care?". Of course that is misleading. Hillary's attack is that Obama's health care plan will prevent 15 million people from getting health care, but that doesn't match up with what the difference is. Hillary's logic is that 15 million people won't choose to get insured... that is a big difference from people being "left" out of the plan(as she is implying.)

Well, I am tired of looking these things up. Feel free to post any that I missed and I will try to add them in.

I know there is a lot of argument about the SS problem. I know there are one or two haters here who insist that SS is anything but perfect means you are quoting right wing talking points. So Regardless of how SS is being bankrupt...the point is that it will be bankrupt by 2041 or whenever Clinton said... most are in agreement that. That being said here is were the sludge comes in.

Clinton has long been using flyers (first in NH) to spread a myth about Obama's plan. I am quoting her mailer "A plan with a trillion dollar tax increase on hard-working American families"

http://www.politico.com/blogs/bensmith/010...

The problem with this is that it is misleading. One of Obama's solutions for SS is to "possibly" raise the cap. (which currently rests between 97,000 -100,000 depending on who you ask around this place. Many have argued that a large 5+ member family could struggle even with 100,000+ dollars of income. (For the sake of this post...we will say sure{ever seen what a house costs in CA} )

The Clinton and subsequently the Clinton...uhh.. supporters ...yah..supporters... are claiming outrage over the "hard-working american's that will get pummeled by this tax increase. But they are leaving out the important part. I am going to put this in nice bold for everyone.

OBAMA HAS BEEN PROPOSING A {{{{{ DONUT }}}}} TO SKIP THOSE BETWEEN

Obama's proposal could include a gap or "donut hole" to shield middle-income earners from higher payroll taxes, he said.

http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2007/... /

he said he would consider raising the cap on the Social Security tax - currently imposed on earnings up to $97,500 - or creating a so-called donut hole that would reinstate the tax once income hits a certain level, as Democratic presidential hopeful John Edwards has proposed.

http://www.boston.com/news/nation/articles... /

Hell, Edwards had the exact same plan. So this "Trillion dollar tax increase"(Where did the Clinton Campaign get that number anyway?) will not be on the middle class AT ALL. "hard working americans" is of course there for people to interpret as the middle class and poor.

Let's stop the LIES. Join with Obama's and Edwards's SS plan. Or at least stop the Lying. Call it out when you see it.

NHPR's Laura Knoy: "So, if you value the DNC calendar, why not just pull out of Michigan? Why not just say, Hey Michigan, I'm off the ballot?"

Hillary Clinton: "Well, you know, It's clear, this election they're having is not going to count for anything"

This message is for those who refuse to give Obama an ounce of respect.

I am so sick of Clinton supporters screaming about Obama supporters being a cult. I am sorry your candidate doesn't inspire you, but don't take it out on my candidate. If JFK or FDR were here today would you be saying the same thing about them. Also, stop with all of that BS about Obama not having any substance when he talks. I bet 99% of the people who say that Obama doesn't have substance in his speeches have never actually listened to a whole speech. Sure it is fluff for the first 10 minutes...but he DOES talk policy. If you spent ANY time at all actually trying to listen to what he says.

I think I can speak for many Obama supporters here when I say that those critics that criticize Obama about such things are idiots. If you guys who troll on and on and on about this cult BS only new how ignorant it makes you look. I challenge any of you to actually go to Obama's site to read his detailed policy positions. Or go to youtube and listen to one of his speeches. You may not like him but you would be lying if you said that he doesn't talk about his policy positions.

It is getting old. You need to ask yourself why he is able to pull so many people into his campaign events. It isn't because he gives a good speech. It is because of what he says in the speech. He is pulling in young voters, independents, and even republicans INTO the Democratic Party and some here think that is a bad thing. Well, you can mock the age of Obama supporters, you can call the independents cult followers, and you can call the republicans(pukes) but they are all finally getting behind progressive ideals. Don't push them away because you can't take a challenge to your candidate of choice.

It is time to stop the bashing, because even if Obama loses the nomination he is going to be a permanent fixture in the Democratic Party for a long time.

An ABC News analysis of the videotapes of at least four stockholder meetings where Clinton appeared shows she never once rose to defend the role of American labor unions. A former board member told ABCNews.com that he had no recollection of Clinton defending unions during more than 20 board meetings held in private.

The tapes show Clinton in the role of a loyal company woman. "I'm always proud of Wal-Mart and what we do and the way we do it better than anybody else," she said at a June 1990 stockholders meeting.

In her defense:
The videotapes do show that Clinton used her role to push for more environmentally friendly policies and better treatment of women.

but then of course Bill puts his foot in it.(Nothing against Bill, but for his wife's sake he should put a lid on it)

His wife did not try to change the company's minds about unions, the former Arkansas governor said.

"We lived in a state that had a very weak labor movement, where I always had the endorsement of the labor movement because I did what I could do to make it stronger. She knew there was no way she could change that, not with it headquartered in Arkansas, and she agreed to serve," President Clinton said.

http://abcnews.go.com/Blotter/Story?id=421...

as a side note: "She knew there was no way she could change that.." bit is the type of attitude I find all throughout Hillary's campaign that sends me running toward Obama. It is a frequent excuse that she uses. For example: She uses that type of defense for Don't ask, Don't tell. She says often when asked about DADT that at the time there was nothing more Bill could do.
