Let me give YOU an earful.

You said that I have seen saying "give up" since the primary started, and that I have no right to say this. Today is the first time I've said anything on this subject. And you know where you can put the rest of those comments. How dare I, indeed.
Now, as far as Hillary goes, she lost my consideration the day she allied herself with the lunatic McCain in order to belittle Obama. Remember? She claimed that she had experience, and McCain had experience, and Obama had speeches. She violated every unwritten rule of campaigning by doing this. To praise the enemy in order to belittle her rival is going beyond the pale, and showed me that she would stoop to anything in order to achieve her goal. What, after all, does her experience consist of? How many home runs did Mrs.Babe Ruth claim credit for?

Face the facts, Hillary. Obama's got the nomination locked up, you might as well pack it in. You have two ways of doing so. One is with some class, and the other is without class.
The classy way to do it would be to concede the nomination to Obama, and throw your support to him, bowing out gracefully.
The low-class way to go, which is what I expect from you, based on your recent performance, is to hold on , kicking and screaming, claiming foul, creating confusion, refusing to retire from the field, even though you have no chance of winning. You want some influence, even the tiniest measure of power will do.
I hope I'm wrong, and you, Hillary, will subside gently into the background. Let's see what happens.

George Bush is the Commander-in-Chief of the mightiest military force the world has ever known, and he has the military sophistication of a ten-year-old boy who has gotten all his knowledge from reading comic books and watching war movies. He has started two wars and can start another, if he is so inclined. He doesn’t seem to like Iran. He should be locked away in a padded cell with Dick Cheney until their terms are over.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The words of Nicole Wells are from an article published in the Birmingham News on March 18, 2007. The words of George Bush, in bold type, are from several newspaper reports, dated March 13, 2008.

Nicole Wells was driving home late one evening in March 2005 when she got a call from her brother.
Uniformed Marines were trying to find her. They had visited her family's home in Atlanta after failed attempts to find Wells at her work and home in Orlando, he said.
She pulled to the side of the road. Wells, 33 at the time, said she knew immediately that her husband, Marine Warrant Officer Charles G. Wells, a Montgomery native, had been killed in Iraq.

Speaking to a group of military and civilian personnel via teleconference, Bush said, "I must say, I'm a little envious,"

Talking about her husband, Nicole said, "He had been through so much that it never dawned on me this could happen. It shocked a lot of people. When they say a Marines' Marine, it was true. I thought he could walk through a wall of fire and not get burned."

Bush said. "If I were slightly younger and not employed here, I think it would be a fantastic experience to be on the front lines of helping this young democracy succeed."

Nicole found that the disbelief led to a need to see her husband's body to confirm he was gone.

Bush told his audience, "It must be exciting for you ... in some ways romantic.”

Cierra Wells, aged 5, had just lost her father.

"They wouldn't let me see him because he was so bad off. They knew he had lost body parts. He had suffered severe head trauma and they would never present a Marine in such a bad way. We had a closed coffin. A Marine was sent to guard his body and stayed with him until he came home to Alabama. I never got a chance to see for myself and that is the part I hate. It was very difficult when you were having discussions about what to do in the event they found body parts.”

Bush continued, “ in some ways, you know, confronting danger. You're really making history, and thanks," he said.

All right, Obama and Clinton, it's time the two of you stopped chewing on each other for a while and turned your energies to chewing on McCain for a few weeks! He's happily watching you two trying to destroy each other while he's getting fat and sassy. It's time to go after him, the lying, hypocrite. Show him up for what he is.

If I recall correctly, this Gannon, a fake journalist and male prostitute, was frequently signed in to the White House press conferences, even though he had no experience as a journalist. What stands out in my memory was that no one was ever pinpointed as the person who authorized his admissions and, even more fishy, he signed in on 23 occasions when there was no press conference scheduled. Who did he see on these visits? And for what purpose?
This was just swept under the rug in the Oval Office, which by now must look like a pitcher's mound. Well, I'd still like to know the answers.
Another problem that was never answered, to my knowledge, is What the Hell Happened to the Missing Nine-Billion Dollars in US Funds in the money pit of Iraq?
Why does the American public let the Bushies get away without answering these questions, pretending that if they wait long enough, the problems will just go away? Why do we let them do it? And get away with it?
Enough! Old as the questions may be, we're entitled to some answers.

The others, as nice as they are, are only snapshots that anyone could have taken if they'd been there. High Noon, on the other hand, has an unearthly beauty that is special, not just a scene laying around on the street for any alert passerby with a camers.

You corrected progressoid's spelling of stationary, by suggesting the word should be "sationery." Close, but no cigar...try "stationery".

Our fearless leader puts his foot in his ass yet again, showing that he really is an asshole. This is from Yahoo news, an item that disappeared rather quickly.
Trying to summarize Odierno's role in that success,(referring to his efforts to increase security in Iraq) Bush said: "I appreciate the fact that you really snatched defeat out of the jaws of those who were trying to defeat us in Iraq."
The parenthetical note is mine.
Snatched defeat out of the jaws...etc.
Man, all I can say is that you can fool some of the, uh, some of the ,uh, all of the, uh, how's that go again... gotta go cut some brush.

Absolutely disgraceful! We are losing our country to the conscienceless right-wing whores. The Democrats are just as bad as the Republicans. This is shameful. It makes me ashamed of my country, of which I used to be proud, back when JFK was our president. How far we have sunk since then. If the Founding Fathers could see the current group of miscreants now running (ruining) our country, they would probably have them up in front of a firing squad. Come to think of it, that's not a bad idea, although perhaps a trifle harsh.
Well, maybe not.

That's the way things are supposed to work, where the good guys win (even though it's only a first step). Carry on, Senator! We're with you all the way!
