It's laughable that the right seems upset that the Obamas have not attended church since the election. Of course, I haven't seen George Bush inside a church since the last State funeral, but that's beside the point.
All of this pi$$ing and moaning about church, yet here we have the PE and his family going out to his people in the community handing out Thanksgiving dinners and then visiting with children in a nearby school. What a joy he has given to his community this day. This will be the last holiday the Obamas will be able to meet and greet their friends in this manner for the next four/eight years.
Being INSIDE a church on a designated day, attending services is all well and good. I do admire however, those that actually conduct acts of christianity and kindness outside of church. Where it counts most. It matters not to me and many others whether the Obamas attend church or not, but the actions of the family says much more. Faux outrage of this nature is hypocritical. There are those who "Pardon" turkeys and those who hand them out with smiles and generosity. I'll take that second kind, along with some pie, thank you very much.
