these here people-

have invited my to be a guest artist this year.
the guy on the far right, with the beard, and the tan cap- he was my professor when i was a student at the art institute, many moons ago. i happened to get to know his wife, the lady in the middle with the red sweater. i didn't do clay for a very long time, but have a studio in a co-op now. she is a guest at our sale every year.
i always thought that this guy thought i was a worm. just kinda the way he treated students. but i have seen him a few times, and i think mostly because i am still doing clay after all these years, he treats me like i might actually be an artist. i make work that artists like, but nobody buys. it is hard to figure out what to think of myself. fortunately, i do not have to sell to eat. but still.....
anyway, i have been invited to be a guest at their home/studio. i can't believe it.
