That was the caption... Tamron Hall said that Bloago will write about finding replacement for Obama's seat.

It's on the AP.

on edit:

here we go:

http://www.prnewschannel.com/absolutenm/te...

PRNewsChannel) / Chicago, Ill. / Former Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich today signed a six figure book deal with one of the largest independent book publishers in the U.S., the PR firm representing Blagojevich announced today.

Blagojevich, who vehemently denies he tried to sell President Obama's senate seat, will write about the discussions, the considerations and the factors involved in picking Obama's successor to the U.S. Senate. Blagojevich maintains he was hijacked from office because of politics. In the book, he will write about his journey that led up to the twice-elected governor and former congressman being ousted from office. He also plans on exposing the dark side of politics that he witnessed in both the state and national level.

Phoenix Books is run by maverick publisher Michael Viner whose titles include books from celebrities like mega-rock star and businessman Gene Simmons and talk show host Larry King. Phoenix also has a large selection of popular fiction and intriguing mystery books.

"The governor chose to go with a large independent company because he wanted to tell his story without any restrictions over content that might've come with a major publishing house," says Glenn Selig, Blagojevich's publicist and founder of The Publicity Agency. "He simply did not want to accept constraints or conditions on what he could say in this book."

Selig says the governor will tell the American public the truth about what happened. He does not intend to pull any punches and will reveal information and provide insights that will at times be embarrassing to himself as well as to others.

"There were some people in high places who didn't want the governor to write this book and worked to try to squash a book deal," says Selig.

He suffered a "breakdown" after his meeting w/Obama at the White House! He doesn't understand why everyone hates him! And he's terrified that Laura will dump on him in her upcoming tell-all book! After all, she can't stand him because he's been hitting the sauce like crazy!

It's all true, I tell you because I read it today on the checkout line at the supermarket. Gotta love The Globe; they've been relentless in their dissection of Chimpy's disintegrating marriage, secret alcohol abuse, past cocaine-fests, and Condi-love triangle for the past few years. I hope they keep on the trail after January 20th, 2009.

AS his days in the Oval Office come to a close, George Bush is hitting the bottle and fighting depression, White House insiders reveal in a shocking world exclusive. The battered Commander-in-Chief suffered a breakdown after his historic meeting with President-elect Barack Obama, according to insiders, who say Bush is begging his wife Laura for help. It's must reading for every American.

There is something physically worng with him... did he have a minor stroke? He couldn't find his way off the stage after speaking.

http://www.americablog.com/2008/10/somethi...
It happened twice. First in a rather major way at 5 seconds, then more minor at 10/11 seconds. You can see McCain's left eye twitch closed, and at the same time, the left corner of his lip twitched upwards - it's especially pronounced in the 4th photo above. What is going on with McCain's health? This isn't normal. And it happened right before he became confused and couldn't figure out how to get off the stage.

At some point, the corporate media needs to do its job and stop being a bunch of politically correct wimps. We just saw - AGAIN - something go physically wrong with McCain's face. It's not the first time it's happened, we documented it before. But the media refuses to ask McCain what is wrong with him because, well, it's not clear why. McCain is 72 years old, was tortured for five years (which couldn't have done wonders to his health), and then had 4 bouts of serious melanoma. His health is an issue, and he has never fully released his medical records in a way that permits anyone to actually peruse them correctly - he only permitted reports to look at each page of his medical records for about 10 seconds before switching to another page. And no one was permitted to copy or take with any of the records. They're now back under lock and key.

a friend emailed this to me, don't know if it's been posted before:

* If you grow up in Hawaii, raised by your grandparents, you're
"exotic, different."
* Grow up in Alaska eating moose burgers, a quintessential American story.

* If your name is Barack you're a radical, unpatriotic Muslim.
* Name your kids Willow, Trig and Track, you're a maverick.

* Graduate from Harvard law School and you are unstable.
* Attend 5 different small colleges before graduating, you're well grounded.

* If you spend 3 years as a brilliant community organizer, become the
first black President of the Harvard Law Review, create a voter
registration drive that registers 150,000 new voters, spend 12 years
as a Constitutional Law professor, spend 8 years as a State Senator
representing a district with over 750,000 people, become chairman of
the state Senate's Health and Human Services committee, spend 4 years
in the United States Senate representing a state of 13 million people
while sponsoring 131 bills and serving on the Foreign Affairs,
Environment and Public Works and Veteran's Affairs committees, you
don't have any real leadership experience.
* If your total resume is: local weather girl, 4 years on the city
council and 6 years as the mayor of a town with less than 7,000
people, 20 months as the governor of a state with only 650,000 people,
then you're qualified to become the country's second highest ranking
executive.

* If you have been married to the same woman for 19 years while
raising 2 beautiful daughters, all within Protestant churches, you're
not a real Christian.
* If you cheated on your first wife with a rich heiress, and left your
disfigured wife and married the heiress the next month, you're a
Christian.

* If you teach responsible, age appropriate sex education, including
the proper use of birth control, you are eroding the fiber of society.
* If , while governor, you staunchly advocate abstinence only, with no
other option in sex education in your state's school system while your
unwed teen daughter ends up pregnant , you're very responsible.

* If your wife is a Harvard graduate lawyer who gave up a position in
a prestigious law firm to work for the betterment of her inner city
community, then gave that up to raise a family, your family's values
don't represent America's.
* If you're husband is nicknamed "First Dude", with at least one DWI
conviction and no college education, who didn't register to vote until
age 25 and once was a member of a group that advocated the secession
of Alaska from the USA, your family is extremely admirable.

OK, much clearer now.

haven't posted because I thought I'd get a lot of crap about it, or at least stir up sore feelings. But what the hell.

In the aftermath of the primary contest, I was one of those Obama supporters who said "Hell, no!" when it came to Obama helping retire HRC's campaign debt. However, now that we are locked in a "life or death" contest w/our true enemy, the Repukes, I've been thinking that perhaps Obama should extend this offer (or at least promise to do so after November) and in turn, Hillary may be motivated to kick it up a notch and FIGHT LIKE HELL to elect this ticket, and FIGHT for those female former HRC supporters who polling shows are drifting to Palin.

I'm thinking of getting it- it's expensive, so want to know if it's for real. The web site and testimonials are very convincing.

I'm listening to WQXR ("New York Times radio")... on their top-of-the-hour news broadcast, they said that the ratings for FUX's (new) Business Channel were so abysmal, Nielson was not going to release them! The report went on to say that FUX had 6,300 viewers compared to CNBC's 280,000 viewers for the same period!

Boy, does FUX network SUCK or what?

Well, well...Kerick was (allegedly) romancing his sweetheart on the NYC taxpayer's dime at an apartment reserved for exhausted 9-11 workers:

Regan and the married Kerik had a well-publicized yearlong affair. Their assignations often took place in a lower Manhattan apartment that had been specifically reserved for the use of workers in the aftermath of 9/11. (http://www.salon.com/news/feature/2007/11/... )

So...will that lead to some in the MSM to wonder where Giuliani was carrying on his very-public extra-marital affair with his "good friend" Judi Nathan? And further, how his desire for a customized, private love-shack within walking distance to City Hall may have interfered with his judgement when placing NY's Command and Control Center in the WTC complex instead of in Brooklyn?

http://www.villagevoice.com/news/0732,barr...

The 7 WTC site was the brainchild of Bill Diamond, a prominent Manhattan Republican that Giuliani had installed at the city agency handling rentals. When Diamond held a similar post in the Reagan administration a few years earlier, his office had selected the same building to house nine federal agencies. Diamond's GOP-wired broker steered Hauer to the building, which was owned by a major Giuliani donor and fundraiser. When Hauer signed onto it, he was locked in by the limitations Giuliani had imposed on the search and the sites Diamond offered him. The mayor was so personally focused on the siting and construction of the bunker that the city administrator who oversaw it testified in a subsequent lawsuit that "very senior officials," specifically including Giuliani, "were involved," which he said was a major difference between this and other projects. Giuliani's office had a humidor for cigars and mementos from City Hall, including a fire horn, police hats and fire hats, as well as monogrammed towels in his bathroom. His suite was bulletproofed and he visited it often, even on weekends, bringing his girlfriend Judi Nathan there long before the relationship surfaced. He had his own elevator. Great concern was expressed in writing that the platform in the press room had to be high enough to make sure his head was above the cameras. It's inconceivable that the hands-on mayor's fantasy command center was shaped—or sited—by anyone other than him.

Love Shack! Baby, Love Schack!

It's very hard to get a window into the --hole's world because he is so scripted. But I remember some of his chitchat was picked up on a mic at the same g-8 summit where he molested German Chancellor Merkel... oh, that was hilarious. Now I want to Google to find it....

That's our mission. That's "victory".

Saddam held his country and its three distinct ethnic tribes together using fear and force; now the US is attempting to hold the country together using military force. That's it. How has saving them from themselves become our mission? Why the f*ck are we dying there, to preserve a unity they don't want? We can't stay there without taking sides and killing innocents. Much of their infrastructure has been destroyed (sabotaged) by Iraqis who don't accept the New Order our invasion installed. The NYT said that 7 out of 9 power lines that fed electricity to Baghdad have been destroyed (sabotaged). 70% of Iraq children don't go to school anymore (another Duer posted yesterday). More than 1 million have left the country, and about as many have been displaced. What's left to save? The minute we leave (unless we stay there forever), the civil war will resume. What will the deaths of our soldiers, between now and our departure, have meant?

If Chimp cannot address this reality which the American public is onto (finally), someone needs to drive this bus. What can a Dem Congress do to halt this insanity?

Preaching to the choir, I know.
