I went in to my local print shop this afternoon wearing my Obama button. The gal that works in there is probably pushing 50. When she saw my button she just got giddy. She explained that her husband has never voted before in his life. He is so excited about Obama's message that he went out and registered to vote! How cool is that? When I wear political buttons I always carry extras so that when someone comments I toss two off, one for that person and one for them give away. By chance her husband called while I was there and she told him that she had scored buttons for him and he was so excited.
Grown people excited about the possibility for change.

My next stop was to the Board of Elections to get my questions about the paper ballot answered. The word there is that they have had over 100 people a day coming in to vote early! This is a huge and unheard of number for our area. I think Ohio is not going to be fooled again and I have a good feeling that the voters are going to do everything to make this race count.
