The fact is that Sarah Palin was aware of her newly-appointed police chief's decision to charge rape victims for forensic exams (http://www.huffingtonpost.com/jacob-alperi... http://www.cityofwasilla.com/index.aspx?pa... ) and personally reviewed and presented the budget that severely reduced the money allocated for testing (http://www.cityofwasilla.com/Modules/ShowD... - Testing was budgeted under "contractual services"). Even though rape is prevalent in Wasilla, she reduced funding for all testing. Unless she planned not to test at all, someone would have to pay. Statements from her appointed police chief establish that her administration intended for victims to pay.

And let's talk about "not charging the victim" by refusing to pay hospitals or billing insurance. As others have pointed out (http://jezebel.com/5054308/debunking-the-s... ) the police department doesn't have to bill clients for them to be charged, when insurance doesn't cover a procedure and hospitals seek payment from the victims directly. Their goal was to pass the buck, not giving a damn about the victim's trauma or the police department's duty to pay for its own damned bills.

But, even if it were true that she didn't know, the idea that she wasn't aware of a new and widely criticized (http://www.legis.state.ak.us/basis/get_bil... http://tinylink.com/?JMnm4HIpXV ) practice of charging rape victims (through insurance or not) would only mean that she's deeply incompetent. She doesn't bother to look at budgets or financial reports? (Yes, she does. Her handwriting is literally all over the budget). She doesn't pick up a newspaper or hear anything about this issue? (Maybe) She doesn't communicate with the people that work for her or make them justify their budgets? (LOL!)

All accounts of Sarah Palin indicate that she's controlling and vindictive. She either knew about this issue and let her flunky take the heat or she's insanely uninterested in what happens to her constituency. In either case, the underlying criticism (rape victims were revictimized by her administration) is not debunked in any way.

Shame on anyone that gives Sarah Palin a free pass. She was the mayor. It happened on her watch. She's responsible.

This was a parody of another thread.
I still remember the drink of the damned that is Capri Sun.

How lame, how frustrating, how sticky it was to stab that squishy silver pouch, only for the straw to slide around until it eventually pierced both sides of the pouch.

But Pacific Cooler was my favorite flavor. Why the hell would someone drink a Martini, when they're eight years old and have Capri Sun lying around?

The Strawberry-Kiwi is also delicious, as well as refreshing, but actually is more tangy than the Pacific Cooler. In the Pacific Cooler, the first thing you taste is the sweet justice of corn syrup and the bite of citric acid, which is immediately mellowed by the beauty of artificial flavoring. Also, Cherry mellows the sweetness of Pacific Cooler. Use a top shelf Cherry Capri Sun.

A great thing to do is to pour a Strawberry in a glass, and then when it arrives tell your friend it's a variant of Wine Coolers (it looks like one) and to take a sip. Your friends won't know the difference. They drink wine coolers.

Edit: it may or may not be frozen, depending on whether you want to trick school children into trying to suck a block of ice through a straw.

damn. I'm good.
Why would Hillary Clinton live on Endor with a bunch of two-foot tall Ewoks?

That does not make sense!

Look at her. She's paying LynneSin to represent a multi-million dollar presidential campaign.

And you're worried about Chewbacca.

If Hillary lives on Endor, you must acquit LynneSin.

The defense rests.

Because if you don't give me an oompa loompa, Nancy, I'll never talk to you again.

And I'll run against you.

And - if I affect the election at all - neither of us will win.

But that's okay.

That won't lead to the result that I want,

But if I don't get my oompa loompa, to hell with everyone and everything else.

When you hear this song, your voice will cry out loud.
If you survive Celine, Nelson, and a myriad of D-list celebrities screeching in such a disturbing manner, out pops Michael Bolton and Kenny G to make the song extra special cool.

It is also the most cloying music video ever. "Way to go troops. Here's a crappy song about bad voices crying out loud."

Falwell passes away. Hilarity ensues. Or not.
How could anyone's spirits not be lifted by your generous proclamation?

Because people hurt by the words and deeds of a vicious, racist, sexist, bigot are clearly not only not as good as you; they have also caught cooties.

You are right. People should never, never, never be angry or allow themselves to express through words the relief they feel that Falwell can no longer continue his crusade against them. That's not very healthy, but then people who don't process things like you are clearly morally deficient.

And Ive never ever been a jedi before

He said, go to yoda and hell show you the force

So it looks like Im gonna start all over again
With my yoda
Yo-yo-yo-yo yoda yo-yo-yo-yo yoda

He said, luke, stay away from the darker side
And if you start to go astray, let the force be your guide
Oh, my yoda
Yo-yo-yo-yo yoda

I know darth vaders really got you annoyed
But remember, if you kill him, then youll be unemployed
Oh, my yoda
Yo-yo-yo-yo yoda
