some specialty mustard, here in the good ole US to take to my daughter in TX. Packed it in my checked baggage. It was sealed and had a paper label over the rim of the bottle. Someone decided to open it and check for whatever explosives I might have packed in it and then did not screw the lid on properly and I got mustard over most of my clothing. It did not come out so most of my better summer clothes were ruined. I'm in your mom's age group, don't have a lot of money to kick around. Also don't have many summer clothes this season.Good I live in Maine, because we haven't had a summer (yet).

Most women of childbearing age have no memory of what life was like in the "good old days." Many of my classmates "had" to get married" with predictable results. I read that Dr. Tiller wore a button saying "trust women." That seems to me to be the crux of the problem. It t speaks for itself that men (mostly) who would kill a man in cold blood, in church, cannot claim to have any respect for human life. When women cannot control their own bodies they cannot control their lives. This is what it's all about. Maybe those of us who remember need to educate the younger women about how it was for us.

This must explain, in spite of my best efforts, why her cow has not gone dry.

Robin Morgan has long been one of my sheros. I was so proud to introduce her at a women's conference a few years back. .I was so disappointed in her support of Hillary. He's just not taking part in the beauty contest because he doesn't have to. This cycle started way too early and I'm pretty sick of the whole thing-and I love politics. As the declared candidates knock each other they just look worse and worser. I'm old enough to remember when the convention wasn't a coronation and my bet is that it'll be wide open, and he'll be fresh and hit the floor running...

 
A couple of niggling points here. Debit cards are not the problem. When you buy with a debit card you are spending money that you have in the bank. It is like writing a check, only easier. You do have to pay attention to your balance but then you need to do that anyway or get socked with heavy penalties. I really don't see the need for bringing Ben Franklin or his sex life into the discussion. I think George might be more concerned with what is happening to the dollar and it's value in the world marketplace. He is loosing face!

 
Helen Thomas nailed Dana Perino but good.It was beautiful to watch. I don't think weather Dana (or Helen) is getting laid is anyone's business. And how are you able to make these prurient pronouncements? It's so easy criticize women as being frigid bitches-happens all the time.
