Rocktivity: The Rock and Roll Attitude In Action
Posted by rocknation in General Discussion: Presidential (Through Nov 2009)

It's because since 2000, we've been laying down building blocks of our own. It's because WE pulled together, made our voices heard, and kept our noses to the grindstone despite the obstacles and setbacks. I'm talking about things like Steve Colbert's speech, Jon Stewart showing everyone how fake the real news is, the efforts of DUers like Andy Stephenson, and Paul Hackett's nearly beating Jean Schmidt in a 70% GOP district. It's because the media muscle the Internet has given us has got the corporate media running so scared they've let Rachel Maddow in.

And though we're fighting over who the Dem candidate will be, at least they're WORTH fighting over. The poor GOP voters can't figure out whether McCain or Huckabee is the best of the worst, and their leadership hates them for not lockstepping along with Romney.

I voted for Obama proudly because I felt he's best candidate possible. And because I did that, I will vote for Hillary just as proudly in November if I feel the SHE is the best candidate possible.
