John Nichols of
The Nation was speaking with Ed Schultz a few minutes ago. This is what Scott Walker's hitmen are doing. They have inserted a flyer into a local newspaper, the
Janesville Gazette, listing the names of school teachers who have signed petitions to recall Scott Walker. The flyer also includes the salaries of the teachers.
This is nothing but rank intimidation and pure hatred for the people of Wisconsin by Scott Walker and his band of thugs.
Here is
the report from Ed's web site:

Governor Scott Walker's Cronies have taken their fight to the schools, placing this flyer in the Janesville Gazette. The flyer contains a list of teachers who signed the petitions to recall Governor Walker, and urges parents of students in these teachers' classes to return a form to the school board requesting their "child be assigned to a classroom taught by a non-radical teacher."
The flyer includes the salaries of the teachers in question. Check out the two-sided flyer below.

Wisconsin State Senator Lena Taylor was just now speaking with Ed Schultz. She said that the kinds of things Scott Walker is doing now to intimidate people is scary. Now, there are many more Walker-supporting signs popping up everywhere. She says the people will make the decision whether to vote for this high school graduate vs a law graduate.
I wonder how many of these sign-wielding "Walker supporters" have been bused in from out of state.... This is the crass outcome of Citizens United. A few billionaires get to pick the governor of Wisconsin, shoveling millions to Scott Walker. They are stealing away our democracy in front of us.
Again, we
are not seeing the DNC and Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz channeling the kind of support that Wisconsinites are asking for. The people of Wisconsin have braved two winters in this fight, Ms. Wasserman Schultz. DO YOUR JOB.
In my opinion, the president and his vice president need to go to Wisconsin, and leave no holes barred in their description of what Scott Walker, fueled by this appalling and unchecked flow of billionaires' money, is doing to the health of Wisconsin's (and the rest of the country's) democracy.
This madness must stop.
The people must be heard.
