... but my intuition and some other data lead me to believe that she won't.

If she could be a graceful loser, she would have done so already - but she has become addicted to this campaign... with each election she says "just one more! then I'll quit!". Unfortunately, there isn't an election form of Methadone, so we can't wean her off her addictive substance - the primaries.

She SHOULD throw her support to him and do all she can to help him win in November - but I don't think that is what she REALLY WANTS. I think she is more then prepared to have a "if I can't win the Nomination, I will destory the person who does!" sort of response.

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if she even campaigns for McCain, just so she can "have a shot at 2012" or whatever it is that she has in her passive-agressive, BPD, delusional mind right now.

$1,300 at Dunkin' Donuts

DAMN! I used to work at a PD, and yes, some of us LOVED donuts! But not even POLICE DEPTS. have that kind of donut expenses!

I think if it's pointed out that she has WASTED the money that average, hard-working Americans sent to her, they will be pissed. After all this is money those people had to work hard for, and could have used to pay their OWN PAST DUE BILLS. They gave to Hillary because they wanted to help the cause and they probably didnt think she would blow it on crap.

Fucking over the small guys (grocers, delivery guys, and small businesses) will only last for so long before people start bitching. The attitude that I have detected from her campaign of "but this is Hillary, can't you let this slide for her?" is also going to start wearing thin too.

Ordinary people have consequences when they can't pay their bills, and ordinary people sure as hell won't appreciate some one who had MILLIONS but BLEW IT trying to say that she "feels their pain". Hillary has no fucking clue what it is like to work for minimum wage and try to keep your head above the water - and this sort of spending proves it.

We don't need four or eight more years of reckless spending in Washington, we need FISCAL RESPONSIBLITY.

Young and black people can have jobs and earn money these days.

Welcome to 2008, racist.

... it's either the womyn who support Hillary or the blacks along with the majority of voters and caucus goers who will be pissed in August.

I'm thinking it's the womyn and Hillary who need to refresh their anger management techniques over the next few months.

Is your word salad supposed to be insulting to Obama?

Backwards and in high heels.

I'd rather have a tabula rasa like Obama than a used, lying, dirty, useless, corrupt, too much like the Repugs, corporate-backed, and status quo slate like Hillary any day.

Oh yeh, and the Ancient Greeks liked tabula rasa too - so this is a religious issue to me.

Hell yeh, Americans want change, and they will vote for Obama in Nov... you are at least finally realising that HE WILL WIN THE NOMINATION.

... the rhetoric has cooled considerably - but there are still a hard-core cadre of Hillary supporters here who are, in my opinion, delusional.

I don't mind honest debate with members of DU who support Hillary... what I hate are the people who have a "agree with me or I will attack you!" mindset. I also don't appreciate the emotional blackmail I see Hillary and some of her supporters here on DU employing. The whole way the boycott was handled smacks of the traits of emotional blackmail and BPD.

I think that the "boycott" has had the opposite effect than what the boycotters wanted... it has made us appreciate their absence... which is never good in a boycott situation.

But if Harding was really strong (in terms of self esteem and talent) she wouldn't have had to resort to violence to win.

Hillary's tactics are just as doomed to failure as Tanya Harding's were.

Do you understand probability and statistics?

I think not.

While it is still possible for Hillary to win the nomination, it is not probable.

... you thought something like "If I tell them I voted for the man who gave many Civil Rights (ie LBJ), then I can say the rest of my racist garbage and no one will challenge me!" combined with "Oh yeh! Further invincibility - I'll play the geriatric respect your elders card! Yes!!!".

Didn't work. Racist tripe is STILL racist tripe.

And it's interesting that you have replied to someone else in this thread I KNOW isn't African-American (he's Irish and Norweigan!) as if they were "black" just because they disagreed with you - and THAT is what shows you are a person who operates primarily based on prejudices and stereotypes.

Sad, really.

EDIT: think, thought, these confuse me!

And it was my DAD's GENERATION that gave me the most rights!

HE was the first in my family BORN IN AMERICA and I'm the SECOND GENERATION (I'm not african-american like you ASSUMED, but to you I would be "black").

Geeez and I was gonna give you some respect and a break 'cause you're an elder.

My mistake.
