how many people has Scientology burned at the stake or tortured to death? Although it wouldn't surprise me to hear of a few cases (Lisa McPherson) comes to mind, they still have a long way to go to catch up to the one true church. And yes, helping people in impoverished areas is a noble thing, but it's a shame they continue to place condoms higher in the evil hierarchy, than say disease or starvation. The good deeds do not outweigh the bad.

The RCC is just as much a racket as any other organized religion and all of them are inventions of the human mind. Zeus, Set, Xenu, Jesus, Cthulhu, Elvis? Who's to choose?

"Religion began when the first scoundrel met the first fool."

- Voltaire

For some strange reason I was under the impression this was a vampire movie and not a movie about an organization that fucks little boys! I have the agree with the Vatican. That is indeed a deviant moral vacuum.

Speak for yourself!

I wish I had your problems. It must be such a relief for you and the other Babbitts to have time to worry about where your neighbor dries the laundry.

A place for everything and everthing in its place! Yeah, a real dream come true.

...to do this. The same goes with their constant labeling of Republicans, who have been caught in some outrageous scandal, as Democrats. They just don't care.

...for the most part their Democratic colleagues rarely call them out directly on their lies. This emboldens them to tell ever more outrageous tales. I can't stand conservatives, but our own party representatives really enrage me with their spinelessness.

It's basically saying that our guy sucks, but just not as much as the other one. If that's all we have, then it's a crying shame. I never did fall for all the "hopenchange" rhetoric last year, so I guess I'm not all that disappointed in him. I'm more disappointed in the party members who didn't have the guts to elect a true progressive. It's not over yet and maybe we'll be able to persuade Obama to get to work, but I'm not all that hopeful.

They set out to plunder the country and deliver the death blow to all the advancements made under the New Deal, and that's exactly what they achieved. Hell, even now, we are still paying criminal corporations, like KBR and Xe, obscene amounts of money for their atrocities.
