"don't act so surprised you little prick, you knew about this"

If this was Pres. Obama's actions many people would be beet red with anger, who are not at all upset at Pres. G W Bush to this day.

Of course, the report by the National Journal has angered GOP politicians.

9/11/2012 Report: Documents Disclose (over a half dozen presidential) 9/11 Warnings
"CIA Counterterrorism Center official suggested transfers so that somebody else would be responsible when the attack took place.”
By Matt Vasilogambros | National Journal – September 11, 2012

The documents predate the presidential daily briefing on Aug. 6, 2001, which said, “Bin Laden Determined to Strike in U.S.”

The direct warnings date back to the spring of 2001. On May 1, the CIA told the White House that there was “a group presently in the United States” that was planning an attack. On June 22, a daily briefing described the attack as "imminent." Administration officials, however, dismissed the warnings, saying that Osama bin Laden was merely feigning an attack to distract the U.S. from efforts against Saddam Hussein in Iraq.

“Intelligence officials, these sources said, protested that the idea of Bin Laden, an Islamic fundamentalist, conspiring with Mr. Hussein, an Iraqi secularist, was ridiculous, but the neoconservatives’ suspicions were nevertheless carrying the day,” Eichenwald wrote. “In response, the CIA prepared an analysis that all but pleaded with the White House to accept that the danger from Bin Laden was real.”

Briefings on June 29, July 1, and July 24 carried similar warnings. On July 9, Eichenwald writes, one official suggested staff members of the CIA Counterterrorism Center “put in for a transfer so that somebody else would be responsible when the attack took place.”(because of their warnings being ignored by the White House)

Video of press conference of dumya, six months after 9/11, rambling on about how Bin Laden exploits weaknesses and gets young men to die for him, but, "I just don't spend that much time on him" - wow, imagine Pres. Obama saying that ignorant comment?! They'd (Republicans) be rallying outside the White House demanding he resign.

If you were a regular American who turned 65...

you would be worrying about your retirement and how you'll pay for living expenses and your medications

you would be paying attention to the price of a pound of chicken breast when you go to the store

you would go to the store

you would understand the value of a living wage, and not have been so eager to let 1.5 million auto industry workers be jobless

you would possibly have lost your home in the past few years

you wouldn't call $374,000.00 in speaking fees you made, "not very much"

you wouldn't have a Swiss bank account (what's a man who wants to be president doing with a Swiss account, anyhow?)

you sure wouldn't have been someone who so flippantly made a $10000 bet in the past year

So, Happy Birthday, you elitist, inauthentic, snooty, job destroying vulture!

With many in their own party highly dissatisfied with their options, GOP leaders have decided to save face, and millions, and focus on 2016.

sorry, I just thought that was too funny not to say...

These four offerings they've got in these debates are right up there with the craziest quartet I've seen in my life.
What a bunch of blathering, misogynistic, homophobic, science hating, fact dodging, disingenuously-religious hacks!

Occupy DU2 protestors vow not to willingly leave the encampment they've assembled in the hopes that Mayor Skinner will do the opposite of what New York City Mayor Bloomberg did to NYC's Occupy protesters.

Rumors have circulated on the internet as to whether the so-called obsolete site, which has a new version at , will still be operational come the stroke of midnight, January 1, 2012.

Administrators at Democratic Underground, long a refuge for disgruntled Americans who knew George W Bush was clearly not all there and had the presidency handed to him by a suspect ruling by the SCOTUS, have been working on a redesigned DU for years.

Unsure if moderators dressed in riot gear will be sent in to clear out the camp, hundreds of members, sworn to their love of DU2, vow to stay locked arm in arm.

Asked why they demand to be left in the DU2 site, most, like a member named Mabus, simply say nothing else is like DU2. Others stated that they feel it's uncertain what will happen. A member named Raine said, "I don't believe anyone knows anything for sure".

What is certain is that Occupy DU2 has some interesting characters in it. When the member called DainBramaged was asked what he wanted to see from the DU2 Occupy group, he simply stated, "MOAR KITTEHS".

One thing about tomorrow, it's always just hours away. So, as the members of this Occupy encampment don't appear to be wanting their slice of the internet to become an archive-only collection of posts, they're hoping Mayor Skinner won't be sending Sheriff EarlG in with the moderators to evict them when 2012 comes at midnight.

For your diligence in exposing the BS of these so-called education 'reforms' in FL and the rest of the USA, and suffering through some really crappy governance here in FL with the rest of us (I will never believe Rick Scott beat Alex Sink, the man was unpopular the moment he was sworn in), I say, Thank You!

Also, being down here, you can couch for how crazed these GOPers are in FL. I never understood how anyone could doubt my post from a few years back about having some right-wing nut get into it with me at the post office over my "lies" to someone else about how adult children were going to be able to stay on their parents health insurance for several more years, or any of the other things I've seen and spoken about that's happened here in FL. This state's Republicans are arguably some of the nation's worst offenders when it comes to being disrespectful to others.

I have always appreciated your wonderful posts on education, and tried to comment in every one I was privileged to read. We cannot let them destroy the education system in this country just so they can make a profit off privatization, and subsequently, dumbing down the nation's children in the process.

Keep fighting the good fight, wherever you may take it!

Warren Buffett: 'My Class Has Won' And 'It's Been A Rout'

There is so much more I wanted to type, but want to leave it succinct and to the point. Today has been a bad day for the People of America. From so many protestors being forced out, to police destroying vast amounts of personal property along with their violent tendencies, to judge swapping, 'the powers that be' are resolute in their desire to crush dissent against their massive corruption in the world.

Last night the NYC police and other organizations sought to end OWS. Last night they destroyed thousands and thousands in property, hard drives on laptops, and other "debris", to remind this country of what TPTB think this country has forgotten - that it may be ten years past September 11th and the control that "fear" brought them, but they still are in vast control even with a Democratic President, as Buffett announced a few days ago with it being a, "rout" against the people.

If you feel the way I feel, then you feel disgust deep within that this is going on. We wish for our president and all the organizations that he has influence over to do something on behalf of the people, but, that is not looking so good (Eric Holder who?) - and yet - the other side of the coin is the rabid - literally insane ideas - of people like Ron Paul, Rick Perry, Herman Cain, and Michelle Bachmann. Seeing them out-spew each others vile promises in debate after debate makes it imperative they not win!

I just feel a sickness seeing all of this bad news...

We need something good to happen, we need some hope.

Is it hopeless to believe that this president has a chance against such a disgusting group of Republicans who are out to destroy this country and cause tens of millions of us so much grief and suffering, enough so, that they can get his popularity is in the 30's so he will lose next year? But, when we want him to speak out against things it seems he is okay with what is going on around us, which is the common complaint of people I hear from that no longer support him who once did. A relative of mine said he wants to be liked by those in power, so that he fits in, and they're a lifelong liberal. It is all enough to make me truly at odds with what I feel about everything involving "politics". Is there any good news to be gleamed from this sad day?

Get it now, or one of a million other designs!

Micaiah Dutt, Veteran, speaking to protestors

OCTOBER 22, 2011, 11:23 A.M. ET

PORTLAND, Oregon — When Occupy Wall Street protesters took over two parks in Portland's soggy downtown, they pitched 300 tents and offered free food, medical care and shelter to anyone. They weren't just building, like so many of their brethren across the nation, a community to protest what they see as corporate greed.

They also created an ideal place for the homeless. Some were already living in the parks, while others were drawn from elsewhere to the encampment's open doors.

"We're here to spoil each other," said Kat Enyeart, a 25-year-old medic who says she spends half her time tending to the homeless, some of whom are physically and mentally ill. "It's a big, messy, beautiful thing."

Micaiah Dutt, a four-tour veteran of the Iraq War said the protests are not just about the radicals and the politicians. "It's about our community taking care of itself because the city, county and federal governments have neglected this population," he said.

We expect, and hold our presidents to, a higher level of wisdom and expected prudence. The Village Idiot isn't someone I would entrust to make my morning pancakes, as I'd be concerned he would allow a small fire to turn into a massive fire that burns my house down.

B*sh gives the appearance of a former drug user and alcoholic, and yet, he was placed (Al Gore received more votes nationally, and by all independent review, more in FL) into power by the US Supreme Court stating the recount was to end in Florida. The next 8 years of him in power were an absolute travesty that led to massive warfare, domestic suffering, and the torturing and murder of thousands. He made a fool out of us every damned place he went, and when his country appeared to need him most - he sat blank eyed holding a kid's book titled, "My Pet Goat". What a hero! Of course, he would say he didn't want to startle the kids, but moments later burned fear into their minds for life as he used them as a backdrop to announce terrorists had just attacked America. Yeah, the kids were being thought of all right...

We all known the box cutter wielding devils did the actual horrific actions on that day. But, when people who are hired to protect this country do their job, and the information makes it's way to the president as the most important thing that is needed to be shown at the start of the day - and he ignores it by saying, "All right. You've covered your ass, now.", then you know the moment when we trulyneeded our president the most - and he failed thousands of people who would die a month later, and thousands more who would die in his false wars. He could, no, he should have enacted an immediate review on FAA readiness and ordered new plans to protect America based on the information hard working American agents were providing to their superiors which made it to the president on that fateful day when he failed us at the time we needed him most...

That man on the left is holding the information that B*sh ignored by snipping, as Ron Suskind reported, "All right. You've covered your ass, now!"

What a dreadful pResident this country had during a time in history when we needed a leader. So, what was so important that B*sh had to get to on that day? Fishing of course.

(Photo caption - The body of Andrew Wilfahrt – the first openly gay US soldier to die in combat since Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell was repealed – is returned to Dover Air Force Base, Delaware, in February. Photograph: Jose Luis Magana/AP)

On Sunday, Jeff and Lori Wilfahrt will travel to Hawaii to join other US military families welcoming back the third platoon of the 552nd military police company from Afghanistan. For the Wilfahrts, the unit's return from its deployment near Kandahar will be a sad and poignant occasion.

Their son Andrew Wilfahrt, a member of the unit, was the first openly gay US soldier to die in combat since Barack Obama repealed the military's Don't Ask, Don't Tell policy in December last year. Two months after homosexuals were officially allowed to serve, Wilfahrts was killed when an improvised device exploded under a bridge in Afghanistan.

"Even though we are acclimatised to his absence now," his father Jeff Wilfahrt told the Guardian, "it will still tear our hearts out."

Andrew Wilfahrt's story is an extraordinary one. Despite coming out to his parents at 16 and campaigning for gay rights at his high school, he decided he wanted to join the army when he was 29. He told a friend he wanted to join up so that a soldier with a wife and family would not have to.

(CNN) -- An estranged son of anti-gay Kansas pastor Fred Phelps said Wednesday that the spiritual leader of Westboro Baptist Church hit his wife and beat his children with a mattock handle until they bled.

"I think what he does out there is evil," said Nathan "Nate" Phelps, during an appearance on HLN's "Issues with Jane Velez-Mitchell."

Nate Phelps called his pastor father "one of the best reasons that America has been forced to get off the fence and address this issue (of gay rights)."

"But at the same time you can't ignore the fact that he's done a lot of damage," Phelps said. "He's hurt a lot of families, not only in the gay community, but the families of these soldiers."

Keith, for nearly 8 years yours was a voice on MSNBC that called out the powerful when they spewed forth their vitriol upon the people and took actions that were suspect, or were frankly downright malicious.

And, in your showing now being no more, it is the people who are harmed.

You Sir, are a special Human Being.

You have made us all a little more closer to one another, and helped us know there was a voice out there speaking on behalf of the people when so few in the media dared to...

We are so very grateful to you, and always will consider you a friend, and a master at telling a story...

I blame the schools & colleges, particularly those involved, for not doing a better job of educating their students, setting firm punishment for bullying, and enacting a student force to report questionable texts/emails/wall postings on facebook/and tweets which are abusive. Some schools outright ignore complaints about kids being bullied for being Gay, and others downplay it as kids being kids, or blame the kids for being Gay, or appearing in questionable attire which 'asks' for it. Also, many teens have spent the summer at youth camps organized by churches, and we all know how a lot (not all) of churches treat being GLBT, and those sermons and classes the kids have listened to all summer are showing themselves.

I believe if the people on Dharun Ravi's tweet list had been educated about harassment properly, ONE of them would have reported his bullying last week, or confronted him by asking why he didn't just ask for a different roommate if he was so offended?

Driven to suicide by bullying in just the past 2 weeks due to bullying from students either at school, heading home from school, or through cyber-bullying. School should be a place where a kid or teen is safe, not bullied to death. RIP guys...

Bullies Flourishing with Christian Support, says Hodge

Candace Chellew-Hodge, one of my favorite 'listens' on podcasts, because she is a Christian who is Gay, is the founder/editor of Whosoever: An Online Magazine for GLBT Christians and currently serves as the pastor of Jubilee! Circle United Church of Christ in Columbia, S.C. She is also the author of Bulletproof Faith: A Spiritual Survival Guide for Gay and Lesbian Christians /

She had this to say about the role religion is playing in bullying, and Focus on the Family's actions regarding congressional legislation ---

In her CNN appearance, Cushman swore that Focus believes "every child should be protected from bullying" but they, and other Christian groups, continue to fight against anti-bullying measures that would specifically target bullying against gay and lesbian students. Even though studies show that specific policies are more effective than general anti-bullying policies, Focus and their cohorts continue to fight it because they believe it demonizes Christians and gives special status to gays and lesbians.

Instead of being concerned for the actual lives of gay and lesbian children (or those perceived as gay and lesbian), Focus' true motive is to continue its political and religious agenda at the expense of these children. Their own position paper on the subject accuses groups like the Gay, Lesbian, and Straight Education Network or GLSEN, which advocate for the gay-specific bullying policies, of using the policies to create diversity training, "evade parental rights" and "circumvent traditional marriage laws."

While it's true that teaching children to value each other no matter what their sexual orientation or gender identity may lead to more tolerant people -- it's disgusting to see an organization put its morality politics over the lives of children.
