Stand up to GOP 43 percent
Work with GOP 46 percent
Republicans say
Stand up to Obama 66 percent
work with Obama 29 percent
I being a "professional leftist" think we should stand up to GOP.

In 2008 when the polls closed, Fox news, Glen Beck, the Hoch brothers Dick Armey and others began their get out the vote campaign for 2010. They were excellent campaigns and beat us soundly. WE must start our campaign for 2012 NOW!
Also we must get someone like Ed from the Ed show or Cenk from the internet on local radio on a daily basis. We must support this effort even if we have to provide it free to local stations. I believe this is how Rush started and over the years he has convinced many working class Americans that the reason for their economic woes is the people with even less than them are getting too much.
I was at various meetings in the last month prior to the election. Attending these meetings were mostly hard working middle class citizens. They would listen quietly to all comments being made, but when welfare and/or earned income credits were mentioned they would rise up in harmony to agree with the speaker. We must get the message out that our woes come because the top 1 percent are accumulating 80 percent of all wealth created not because of welfare or earned income credits.

Well yesterday i was watching morning joe and this corporate ad came on blaming Obama for all the problems in the world. Did not see any name of who was/is responsible for ad. Sent them a note telling them I switched channels. Today same ad. Need more folks to send notes to msnbc complaining about this.

Has to do with Unions and we need to get our votes in.

Today's mail included a fund raising letter/survey from the DNC. Neat thing about it is, it has a section where we can enter comments or opinions. And of course a survey.
I answered the survey questions as best I could giving the President a Fair rating over all. My comments were as follows:
"I am still hoping for a change. The Sherrod situation was a shameful event for the White House. I feel like I have been let down. Elizabeth Warren is my "line in the sand."
In the donation section I wrote "Any extra money I can afford to donate is going to Jerry Campbell for Congress in Michigan's 4th district.

Dave Camp (R) Dow Chemical, has not been seen in Michigan for a lengthy time. After visiting his Midland office numerous times I gave up on any chance of a visual sighting of him.

Last night a lady sitting at the same table as me told me if I wanted to see him it would cost me $100. She explained it would be at one of them $100. a plate dinners.

Not currently having an extra $100 I was wondering if anyone out there has seen him anywhere Michigan? Does he ever come back for a visit ?

Jerry Campbell is currently running for this seat which has been occupied by Dave Camp, a corporate pawn. Camp has held this seat for 20 years, how do you feel about what has taken place in Michigan for the past 20 years ?
