I'm familiar with what you don't believe about "the events of 9/11"(tm). What then do you think happened? What kinds of plots and schemes and miraculous coincidences infest your heart of hearts when the mystical phrase "the events of 9/11"(tm) flit through your memory?

Just a bulleted summary from mainstream sources will do, kinda like Paul Thompson's timeline, also drawn from mainstream sources and official documents. And best of all, archived video/audio feeds from a gaggle of blown away TV "journalists" who for once in their useless lives quit spinning and just told audiences what they saw and heard.

Like explosions, and more explosions, and more of them from the underground parking areas, and still more from various structural stress points where the joints were that connected the three giant sections of each tower.

Little snippets of reality on those rare occasions of glorious cosmic synchronicity when our official propagandists fuck up -- those slime creatures who create the parallel universe where most Americans seem to live these days because they can't handle real life.

Even the veterans stepped on their tongues that day and actually let their unfiltered impressions escape their lips because fear disabled their customary constraints against telling the truth without checking upstairs first.

So, where do you stand? Still wedded to the most ridiculous conspiracy theory of them all?

How is it possible to possess such acute analytical capabilities and still claim it's logical to assume the Bushies, who haven't told the truth about a single event or issue of any importance since they were embryos, decided to tell the unvarnished truth about "the events of 9/11"(tm)? And why would they do such a thing when their fairy tale makes Swiss cheese seem solid? They were bound to lose control of the whole myth; the story's just too dependent on belief in things that are simply impossible.

How the hell do you manage to make that leap of faith -- because it's faith and trust in a media-created belief system we're talking about here. The evidence is heavily in favor of those who assume that the Bushies just lied as they always do. They had no moment of clarity, had no intention of telling the truth about this or anything else. They continue to rely on US mass media's intentional avoidance of running anything that might disturb the nodding American public.

So what happens is mass media's fairy tale parallel universe enfolds and comforts spineless Americans, letting them avoid even the slightest encounter with the dark and ugly side of how things actually work in the real world. These people believe shit that, by its very nature, proves their boundless ignorance and aversion to facts. This is the audience US mass media targets because they're so gullible they'll buy anything TV tells them to, as long as it's available at Walmart for those low, low prices enabled by slave labor.

The way US media handles news and information has become such a national disgrace and international joke that if I want to find out anything of substance about my own country, the last place I'm going to look is any publication or website that originates here.

Elsewhere in the world, among societies where a relatively free press still digs and investigates and breaks actual news of great importance, people have been comfortable for some time with the high probability that 9/11 was a Cheney/Rumfeld/CIA/USNORTHCOM co-production.

There are 9/11 truth investigations underway all over the EU, and a couple more in South America. Interestingly, these places are, for the most part, expanding rather than abolishing human rights and individual freedoms.

People who live in these places think, with some cause, that Americans are complete fucking idiots to ignore the mountain of evidence pointing directly at the Bushies' role as the 9/11 general contractors. Worse yet, we're even greater complete fucking idiots because we allow these insane monsters to remain in power, untroubled by any legal action or social uprising. And they just keep getting away with shit.

Every day brings another bit of insanity or the expected outrage du jour. And almost nobody notices; even fewer seem to give a damn.

So despite a body of evidence several hundred times greater than what's required to put a young black guy behind bars for 5 to life for stealing a bottle of sparkling water from a 7-11, there they are, our own updated version of the 20th century's greatest war criminals and mass murderers, just walking around like they own the place.

Which is where the beginning and end of this fabulous tale of cognitive dissonance meet. Were it not for those who have decided to give the Bushies more slack than any other criminal conspiracy in recorded history, they would be the ones at Gitmo, clad in orange jumpsuits, crouching in tiny cages, getting bludgeoned by Megadeath or worse at ear-splitting volume for days on end.

But that would be cruel and unusual punishment, to quote an amendment from a largely defunct set of principles defining the social contract in the land of the free. That stuff's for swarthy Arab males who fit the "terrorist profile." Which is to say, they're swarthy Arab males.

And all this crazy shit -- and literally thousands more acts of pure madness -- happened only because "the events of 9/11"(tm) "changed everything" and allowed a right wing coup to grab more power than ever before in US history and use it to fuck up life on earth for as many people as possible -- including our very own domestic population, who are the only terrorists the Bushies are at all concerned about.

200 million armed, pissed off adults, at least 4 percent of whom can actually hit a moving target, presents a real problem that must be dealt with if the coup is to succeed and remain in power.

But "ve haff vays," as they say. Torture at Gitmo is just a PR/advertising campaign to inform the citizenry that dissent can have serious consequences.

So I'd really like to read your take on how all this crap has absolutely nothing to do with 9/11 and what it allowed them to get away with -- while the usual uber-patriotic chowderheads waved flags and pasted on little magnetic ribbons right next to the gas filler on their Dodge Priapic 4X4 Personal Penis Extender with optional 6,000-pound winch (probably "wench" in ObeseBurg USA) and custom ceiling-mounted condom dispenser.

So convince me. That's a formidable job, I know, but I'm sure you're up to the challenge.
