The media will jump all over Giuliani when they see he's trying to close the closet door. His website fails to mention he has kids! Or that his marriage to his second cousin was annulled. Or that he carried on a very hateful public adultery with his "nurse friend" while his wife bled in public. He's also extremely defensive about his father being "associated" with the mob - not true, he says! There is so much more. So, so much more.

Neither Obama nor Edwards has real foreign policy experience, other than what they have learned. Attendance at a Davos meeting does not a foreign policy expert make. Neither has been an ambassador nor negotiator, but they obviously are intelligent people. Far more experience than the current President, and preferable to any current administration member.

Without stating who I believe is the perfect Democratic candidate for President, I will say that either Obama or Edwards would be extremely valuable and productive vice-presidents. I'd prefer Obama stayed in the Senate for a while and Edwards did something to finally address poverty and racism in the US. His eagerness to go into Iraq even just to take out Saddam and his constant defense of his vote for the IWR during his last campaign still make me uneasy. With the current Senators from NC and SC, why doesn't he run for Senate again?

Treason
"To announce that there must be no criticism of the president, or that we are to stand by the president, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public."

Theodore Roosevelt, 1918
The Corrupt Republican Motto
"Our enemies are innovative and resourceful, and so are we," Bush said.
"They never stop thinking about new ways to harm our country and our people, and neither do we."
