Tweety reminded Trent that Bush said he would fire anyone involved in Plameleak from his maladministration. Tweety asked Trent why Rove wouldn't be fired for this, since it's documented that he leaked twice, once to Matt Cooper. (Sorry, I forget who the other recipient of Plame info was). Tweety was saying, if Karl Rove leaked twice against federal law, why is Bush keeping Rove? Does Rove have to be indicted to get fired because * isn't making a move, like he said he would.
Lott's answer: Karl now has a job in "politics," not "policy." Lott also said something about Rove being ruthless and that he (Lott)doesn't like being ruthless, himself.

Lott, since you don't like being ruthless, why don't you come clean about your BigOil-BushCo-destroy the coastal environment connections?

On a higher note, Tweety was actually asking some Hardball questions of Trent Lott. Thank you, Chris, for actually playing Hardball.
